"What's wrong loser, you've been looking at that wall for an hour now" Ashlyn told her cousin. Stephane was sitting on the couch just staring at the grey wall in front of them. Ashlyn had first noticed Stephanie not being fully there when Normani asked her if she wanted some of the Chinese takeout she brought on her way home. Normani gave Ashlyn a look, in which Ashlyn told her to leave it alone.

Somehow it had brought Stephanie back in the room from wherever her mind took her, she shook her head before standing up and slowly making her way to the backyard.

The rest of the girls were siting in the living room, concerned for their best friend. Alessia moved Dinah's arm from around her shoulders before walking to the kitchen to get a better view of Stephanie. Soon after, Dinah and the girls followed behind.

"Should we do something?" Ally questioned as they saw Stephanie stood less then five feet away from the pool, scrutinizing it like she was studying it, trying to understand it or find an answer.

"No. She just needs space" Ashlyn answered.

"Do y'all think it's because Demi left?" Dinah said making all the girls turn her way in disbelief for even questioning it. Alessia smiled at her girlfriends slowness, yes girlfriend, Dinah had finally told her how she felt and they have been together for 2 and a half weeks.

"Duh!" The girls yelled laughing lightly. It was always funny to them when Dinah asked the obvious, but it wasn't her fault she was a little slow. Rolling her eyes she hugged Alessia from behind, placing her chin on top of Alessia head.

"Demi leaving is probably the worst thing that could've happened right now" Lauren then said, the girls nodded agreeing.

"No. The worst thing was her leaving with Cara to begin with" Melanie said watching her step-sister stand completely still as in a trance.

"We can't blame Demi" Normani spoke, all the girls turned to her with their little short eye rolls. "Guys, we can't be selfish. Yes I get that we all want Stephanie and Demi together but we can't keep holding onto something that probably will never be again. Demi's happy with Cara, she moved on and it's just Stephanie's turn" it wasn't a total lie.

"This is all just so messed up. Stephanie's been through a lot for Demi, but yet she never gives up. She may get side tracked but at the end of the day, Demi's want her heart really wants. Their love is toxic" Camila couldn't be anymore right.

"I remember how happy they both were. They both had this little spark in their eyes and would always bring up the other in every conversation even when one wasn't around. Stephanie had brought her a ring, I remember the women from the jewelry store telling Stephanie she was so young to get married but all Stephanie said was say 'not when it's the right one and would smile.'" Jennel told the group. Everyone teared up and listened carefully reason being they didn't know that little information.

"What happened with them Jen?" Dinah asked before anyone could. Jennel sighed causing Valerie to take her hand in hers. It hurt her just thinking about that horrible night.

"Demi-" Jennel stopped to look back at Stephanie. Everyone look out the glass door again, Stephanie had backed away from the pool and started walking to the glass door. The girls quickly moved away slowly but stopped when they saw her take off her leather jacket and doc martens, placing them down, she walked back to the pool but this time, instead of stopping, she kept walking until she was deep underwater.

The girls panicked running out and jumping in right behind her not minding their clothes. Melanie took Stephanie's hand in hers. With Ashlyn's help, they pulled Stephanie completely out of the water. Dinah lifted her up and set her down on the ground. Still, Stephanie had not reacted. And that scared the girls... A lot.
