Chapter 26
Stephanie drove the new happy couple back home, her house of course. Jennel had asked Valerie to move in with her. When she accepted, they drove to Jennel's house so Jennel could pack. Turns out Valerie is amazing on guitar. As Jennel was packing, Stephanie sat down on a bean bag Jennel had and Valerie saw Jennel's guitar, sat down on Jennel's bed, and started playing a few songs before Jennel finished packing. Jennel went behind Valerie and lightly pressed on the fingerboard to mess with Valerie. Valerie got mad as she was actually getting parts she normally struggles with and pushed Jennel then lightly slapped her, earning laughs from both Jennel and Stephanie. Jennel laughed hard as she found Valerie very cute when she's mad. Jennel removed the guitar from the area then flipped Valerie over so that Valerie was on bottom and Jennel was on top, straddling Valerie's waist and pinning down her arms so Valerie wouldn't fight anymore. Jennel stared down at Valerie and leaned down to kiss her. Stephanie was very fond as Jennel and Valerie were a really cute couple, but soon, anger and sadness took over as she started thinking about love. Stephanie couldn't take it anymore so, still laughing at their cute fight, Stephanie told them it was time to leave.
Stephanie watched from the rearview mirror, Jennel and Val were now sound asleep cuddled up together in the backseat. She again, thought about how cute they were then about herself. Sighing, she shook her head and focused on the road ahead of her.
Once home Stephanie woke up the lovely couple and helped them inside. Stephanie opened the door expecting to see the girls in the living room but she was faced with silence and emptiness. Stephanie was confused as this house is never empty from the girls and always filled with noise, it was sometimes annoying, but missed when the sound of 5 loud girls having the time of their lives wasn't there. Waving off the house's silence and emptiness, she showed Jennel and Valerie their room before walking off into her room.
Taking off her jeans and shirt, she walked into her bathroom and jumped into the shower. The cold water sent chills down her back, which she loved the most. Something about the cold water comforted her.
Sliding down against the wall, she sat down on the tub and just cried. That was all she could have done, cry.
She asked herself what was it that she did wrong? Why was she the only one who didn't have happiness? Everything just seemed to be falling apart all over again.
She stood at the sound of her phone ringing, she shook off the thought of answering it and went on to wash her hair and body. Again, her phone went off, irritated by the sound she hurried up and turned the water off. Stepping out the shower she grabbed a nearby towel and wrapped it around her body. She walked into her room, reaching for her phone it happened to ring once again.
Melamine
Stephanie smiled at Melanie's contact name and answered.
"Ello"
"Steph" Melanie breathed out.
"Melanie what's wrong?" Stephanie worried.
"Steph, Demi- she cut-" Stephanie's eyes widen, stopping Melanie she asked the one question she had to ask.
"What hospital?" Getting the information Stephanie put on some jeans and her sweater before running out her room downstairs into her car. Not stopping once.

Demi sat in the chair, whining each time the nurse placed the sewing needle into the open cut. After the anesthesia, the last bit of cuts weren't as bad as the first ones.
"Okay Ms. Lovato. Your done here, just make sure to rest this hand and take the painkillers the doctor prescribed." Demi thanked the middle age women and stood up.
