Red cracks his neck. Long night in the truck parked at the motel. He stayed up watching. Waiting. Didn't want Beth to slip away unnoticed.

He walks to Beth's door. Tries the handle. It's locked. No surprise there. He knocks three times. No noise from inside.

Red heads back to his truck. The park is only a few blocks away. Beth could've walked it in the night when Red inevitably slept a couple minutes. Or she might've snuck out some other way. Time to check it out.

Red fires up the truck and heads out. His hunch pays off.
