Chapter 23

Charlie's POV (special)

It was hard seeing Riley with the necklace.
Hard to know what it meant to her, that she still was thinking about him, maybe feeling something for him.
Why couldn't it be like it was before James came back.

I texted Riley to come to the Music room, because even if I was a bit mad at her, I wanted to talk to her.
I heard gentle footsteps and knew immediately that it was Riley.
I kept looking to the wall, sitting on the bench, she came and sat next to me.

"I'm sorry, I don't feel anything for him really", she tried explaining to me.
"It's okay, let's just forget it", I said looking to her.
She looked surprised, but quickly started smiling.

After all I really liked Riley and didn't want to lose her.
She hugged me and pecked me on the lips.
"I am relieved that you are the best boyfriend on the whole world", she said.
But I knew that she didn't meant what she had said.

Michelle POV

The girls and I were feeling bad for picking on Riley, so we decided to apologize to her.
She was sitting at a table in Hidalgos drinking a juice, we walked to her and waited till she raised her head and looked mocking to us.
"What do you want?", she asked nasty.

"We wanted to apologize for earlier", I answered.
Suddenly she stood up and looked at us with an angry expression on her face.
"When do you gonna get this, I don't care about you all, I hate you and I couldn't care less about what you said to me!"

I was shocked, I knew that we were rude earlier, but she wasn't being rude, she was being vicious.
"Could you all go now", she said annoyed.
We walked out of Hidalgos and to the hall.

"That was the last time that I was trying to be nice to her", Thalia announced.
"Me too", Amanda informed us.
We all nodded, we agreed that Riley wasn't our friend anymore, she was past now.

Eldon's POV

"Eldon", I heard someone calling, I knew this voice, it was Thalia's.
Today Miss Kate had given us a day off, but I was rehearsing anyways.
I stopped dancing and saw Thalia coming to me crying.
Why was she crying?

"What is going on?", I asked her preoccupied as she hugged me still crying.
"Riley", she said sobbing.
"What did she do?", I asked angry.

I was full of Riley making stress in the studio, I just couldn't bare her anymore.
"She..She told me that you were going to cheat on me anyhow and it wasn't the first time that she had told me that, I knew I shouldn't care, because I know you wouldn't cheat on me, but it hurts", she said sobbing.
That was enough, she was too far, I kept soothing Thalia and thinking about how Riley changed.

Eldon's POV

James was talking the whole time about Riley and that was making me furious.
Was he blind or why couldn't he see, how stupid she was being.

James's POV

"And when she smiles, I don't know I just want to go over to her and kiss her, I don't know what to do, what do you think dude?", I asked Eldon.
He suddenly got totally red in the face and exploded.
"Are you blind, don't you get Riley don't like you, she changed!", he screamed.
I was a bit confused, to why he was so angry, but okay, but he wasn't finished.
"She isn't an angel, she is more the opposite, she is mean, she is bitchy, she is arrogant, she doesn't care about anyone", He yelled and now I was getting furious too, because he could say that all to me, but not to my Riley.

Riley's POV

Someone was yelling in A-Studio, so I decided to go see what was going on there.
Eldon was in the corner next to the cubbies with James, they weren't looking at me and Eldon was yelling.
I walked closer to them.

"Riley is stupid, no one likes her in the studio, besides you James and really I don't get why you still like her, when all she does is been rude to you", he yelled with a red face.
Tears ran down my cheek, why did I care so much about the opinion from other people.

James's POV

I was so angry right now, he was saying all these stupid things about Riley, which weren't even true.
"Do you know what she is, she is a bitch", that was definitely enough.

Riley's POV

"Do you know what she is, she is a bitch", Eldon yelled and the next I heard and saw was a loud punch from James right into Eldon's face.
I was shocked James punched Eldon, Eldon his best friend, he did this for me.

"Don't talk ever about my girl in this way, do you understand me?, or do you need another punch in your face to learn it, you are death for me!", James yelled ready to aim another punch.
"James, stop!", I shouted walking over to them and holding his arm.
Eldon looked still shocked to James, rubbing his cheek with his hand.

James turned to me, surprised to see me there.
His expression turned from angry to sad.
He wrapped an arm around me wiping some tears from my cheek, then he turned around to Eldon and said a bit quieter:"If I were you I would go away fast"
Eldon followed his advice and walked out of A-Studio.

"You punched Eldon, your best friend, why?!", I said to him, still not believing it.
"He was insulting you, I couldn't just stand there and hear all these lies about you", he answered tucking a loose strand of hair behind my ear.
"He wasn't lying, the truth is that I am a bitch, who don't care about anyone", I told him still crying.

"No Riley, don't say that, that's not true, you one of the most caring persons I know and you definitely not a bitch", he disagreed to me, while holding me tighter, so that I was resting my head on his chest.
"Thank you", I whispered.
"For what?", he asked stroking my hair slowly.
"For being always there for me", I answered quietly wandering my finger on his chest.

"Forever", he only added breathing slowly, I could hear his slow heartbeat, it calmed me down.
"I should maybe go", I mumbled fast taking a step back.
I couldn't be so close to him, it wasn't good for me.
"Okay", he only said, before I ran out of A-Studio.

The next chapter, sorry that it took me so long, but I was a bit busy with school.
