"Do you think anyone will notice if we dye our hair, Sae?" Ukito smiles wide.

"Dye our hair?" I glance at him suspiciously. He grabs a section of my flat, auburn hair.

"Y'know, so we can look less like 'mommy' and 'daddy'." He runs a hand through his thick, blonde hair.

"What colour would look good on me?" I ask.

"Well.. what's your favourite colour?"

"Black.. but that's too normal. So what do you think would make me pretty?"

Uki laughs. "Pretty? Sae, you're fuckin' gorgeous. But I think.. pink. Pink would make you cute as a mofo."

"Tch, pink? It's so girly!"

"Aw, c'mon Sae."

"If I do pink, I get to pick your hair colour."

"Fine." He puts his arm around my shoulders. "So what's it gonna be?"

I study his face closely. His eyes are a silver/grey like mine, his hair is naturally a light blonde.. "Blue. Darkish blue."

"Mmm, I can see it. Well come on now, you wanna ride along to go buy the stuff?"

"Y-yeah, sure."

We climb in Uki's favourite car, some Porche, and set off on our journey to the drug store. "This kind of pink?" I hold up a box. A pretty girl with hot pink hair smiles at us from the label.

"Ack, no. Go with a baby pink. How about this for me?" He holds up royal blue. I look at the ad, then him, and nod.

We pay for our hair dye and stop at the fast food place down the street. "Oouuh! I want a double cheese burger with fries and a small coke." I demand. He looks at me and shakes his head with a smirk.

"God damn. Are fourteen year old girls supposed to eat like this?" I giggle.

We eat our found in the silence of the night, sitting in the parking lot. "So do you think we'll get in trouble?" I look at him while dipping a fry in ketchup.

"Do you think I care?" He shrugs. "They didn't care about the piercings or clothes, I doubt they'll cause much fuss about our hair."

"I guess that's true.."

"Hey, Sae?" Uki turns to me with a serious expression.

"Yeah, Uki-Chan?"

"What would you do if I wasn't here anymore?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well.. Say something happened.. And I wasn't here to take care of you anymore. What would you do?"

"I.. I.. I don't think I could live with out you, Onii-Chan.. You're the only person I have in my life.. If you were gone.." Tears start to form in my eyes. He pulls me close to him, resting his head on my shoulder, his hands clasped in my lap.

"Don't cry, Saeko. You don't have to worry. I'm not going anywhere, ever. I'll always be by your side, until the day I die."

"Hey, Saeko?" I open my eyes to see Haruhi standing in front of me, a worried look on his face.

"O-oh, hey. I guess I fell asleep listening to music again.." I pull out my headphones and turn the music off.

"Be careful, you never know what will happen in your sleep. Especially with perverted boys running around." He smiles at me.

"Ah, uh, thanks for the concern.." I wipe the tears out of my eyes.

"Are you crying..?" He asks, looking directly at me. I flip my hair over my eyes.

"Nah. Just fixing my makeup.." That dream.. I wish I would stop remembering all that.. It just brings up more pain..

"Well.. Do you want to come to the library with me again?"

"Are you sure you want me to come? I don't want to impose on you."

"I do like being alone.. But with you, it's not so bad. You aren't obnoxious and loud like the other people I'm forced to hang out with.. and I like that about you."

My face heats up. "O-oh, Haruhi! Stop it, you made me blush."

He laughs a little. "You look cute when you blush." My face gets hotter. "Come on, lets go." He takes my arms and walks next to me.

"So.. Would you be willing to recommend a book to me? I need something new to read and I'm interested to see the kind of things you're into."

"Sure. Uh, here." We scan the aisles together, in search of books Haruhi likes. Finally, he pulls one out and hands it to me. "I don't know what you'll think of this one, but it's a classic.. I enjoyed it." He smiles.

Lord of The Flies? I've heard of it, but never actually looked into it.. But if Haruhi thinks it's good, then I'll probably like it. "Thank you. It seems interesting."

"Cool. We can discuss it after you finish."

"Oh.. I-I meant to ask you, if it's no problem, if you could help me with tonight's mathematic assignment. I don't really understand factoring that well.. And you're really smart.."

"I'd love to. We can do it now, since I still have some time before I have to go up to the Host Club."

"Okay. Thank you so much, Haru-Kun!" I smile and hug him.

"So you divide by x to get the answer?"

"Mhmm. It's pretty simple once you get the hang of it."

"Thanks, Haruhi." I look at my phone. "I-I think I made you late again.."

He looks at his watch and sighs. "It's fi-"

"No. This time I'm going to apologize. I can't keep making you late."

"Ah.. I guess I can't stop you.."

"I just feel horrible for making you late again.. It's all my fault, let me take responsibility." Haruhi takes my hand and we set off on our adventure to the Host Club's room, which is really just an abandoned music room.

"Haru-Chan!" A little blonde boy jumps onto Haruhi and clings to him. "Oh, who's this, Haru-Chan? Is she one of your friends?"

"Oh, uhm. Hai." I bow to him.

"Haruhi, you need to stop being so late. And I'm sorry, the Host Club doesn't start taking clients until-"

"I'm not a client." I sigh. "I'm here to apologize for making Haruhi late for the past two days. We were studying together and I guess I lost track of time. Please, don't blame Haru-Kun for this." I bow to the taller man before I realize who he is. "O-Oh, Kyoya-San.."

"Ah, Saeko-San. I'm sorry, I didn't realize it was you. I guess I'm not used to you acting respectful towards me."

"Tch," I look away. "Anyway. Sorry for making Haruhi late. I'll be leaving now."

"Oh, hello my Princess.. What beautiful eyes you have." A taller blonde runs his finger tips along my jaw line.

"Ack, what the fuck do you think you're doing?!" I shove him away. "Not cool, bro." I walk past him and slam the door behind me.

So Kyoya's in the Host Club, huh? Another reason why I don't want to end up his fiancee.. He's a womanizer with no heart. What kind of woman would want to marry him? Or anyone in that club, for that matter..? I don't understand females.
