Drawing request by: NationBlue
Tutorial request by: MamaBearTheGreat

Wohoo! Long time no draw anime T_T This is completed on 13th of February 2016 at around 1.00 AM. Yup, I had to stay up late to do it... The photo is a bit blueish and purpleish, no filter I swear X3 It's the lightning in my room XD And it goes well with the clothes, so I just left it! And I added the stars cause the drawing just looks too plain.

So this is YumeHoshi's OC request (1st Prize Winner) and I used it for MamaBearTheGreat's tutorial request (2nd Prize Winner). 2 birds with one stone XD I even went and read the story to draw the OC

I hope you guys like it! ^^

I am perfectly aware that Mya's colouring is better than mine ._. I don't know how she makes the colours so vibrant.... Btw I'll only do the skin and the hair because the clothes was a pain and Mya already did it. X_X

And also sorry the images suddenly disappeared ⊙_⊙ I think I will make a second tutorial for the skin and hair.... T_T

Ok..... So....
Step 1: Magically draw something XD

Step 2: Apply the base colour on the skin. You can mix different shades to obtain a specific colour. I used Faber Castell and Derwent mixture Then I erased lightly all over.

Step 3: Shading is the most crucial point to make the colouring look..... Good! Here, the light source is mostly the moonlight outside. I usually shade while degrading it and I use a blender pen. Where to shade... Under her bangs, where her face is covered with hair, under her jawline, the undersides of her hands... Uh just observe XP Erase a bit again.

Step 4: Now the hair. Choose the base colour (lighter than the colour you want in the final) and and colour everywhere except where you think the light falls on. Another light source may be a lamp here, since the highlights also appear on the back. (I somehow magically coloured the eye)

Step 5: Add some darker tones of the hair for the base colour here. I also used a bit of silver. The trick is actually just your feeling. It is difficult to tell it in words... XP

Step 6: Add more darker tones for the shading and relief. I used dark blue and black. Then try to blend the colours together and also with the highlights. I used a blender pen again for a smoother texture.

Step 7: Magically colour the clothes And this ends the tutorial for the skin and hair!

I know that I wont be a good teacher later Well.... XD I'll colour the background someday in the future!! ^^
Mya: I'm bad with tutorials, Lyrica makes a great teacher! XD
