"Shh" Sam whispered to try and hush everyone's mumbles down. "They're outside"
Next to him Muellas palms were sweaty from nerves and anticipation. For some reason Sam had guided her to his table along with his friends and had her sit next to him. Bryson's facial expression was not only hilarious, he simply looked gobsmacked. Muella ignored his stare and settled next to the handsome young man who she'd realised was the one who organised the entire meal.

He'd just announced than Dr Adams himself was on his way into the restaurant. They prepared their party poppers and honks as they watched the door restlessly. Outside voices could be heard, the familiar lady who'd taken their coats opened the door and Dr Adams walked into a sudden war of

"SURPRISE!" Being screamed at him party poppers going off like guns and honks, clapping and whistling creating a buzz.

The older doctor looked shocked but did not flinch or open his mouth. He looked absolutely clueless to what was going on before a familiar blonde female in a body hugging black dress and red heels placed her arm on his bicep with a grin on her rouge coloured lips...God she looked too pretty, Muella thought. She made Muellas outfit look tacky despite the blonde woman wearing simple colours and fewer items of clothing.
Muella didn't realise she was the only one still sitting, as she stood slowly, luckily no one noticed. Sam slipped from his seat and walked over to the man and gave him a man hug.

"Happy birthday man" Sam said to him as though they were closest friends and Muella was surprised to see Dr Adams smile at this.

Sam turned to everyone and spoke up "thanks for making this possible guys. And now we can eat!"

A few people laughed and Muella couldn't help but smile at Sam's joyful personality. She watched as he lead them to their seats. She realised she was going to be sitting at the same table as them and decided to return back to the other table, as she slipped past whilst people began to sit back down. She felt Sam grab her wrist. Looking up at him and the two people watching her behind him, she was shocked to see Sam's serious expression as his thick brows questioned where she was going.

"I thought maybe I should go back to my seat" she ignored the beautiful blondes eyes watching her and the intensity of Dr Adams cold blue eyes.

"There's plenty of seats Hun" the blonde answered when Muella clearly knew she wasn't talking to her. She didn't understand why she felt the need to be bitter towards the woman, who was clearly nice.

"Yeah Come on " Sam pleaded using his dark eyes to lure her in "keep me company tonight"

Muella pressed her lips into a think line and gave a nod whilst looking down. She awkwardly slipped back into her seat next to Sam. Dr Adams pulled out a chair for the blond lady who was sitting exactly opposite her before slipping into the seat next to her.
She didn't want to look at them. She didn't want to watch. She gulped and looked down at her hands in her lap. She saw a darker hand with a familiar watch take her Palm in his...she felt tingles all over her hands as she watched him play with her hand and intertwine their fingers together.

"I think we should order now" Sam spoke to the lady who worked their and she gave a nod before walking out of he room.

Muella couldn't help but feel tense, Sam was talking away like nothing was going On and all she could do was stare at their hands on her lap.

Why didn't she pull away? She felt selfish for wanting to get to know him, and now as he showed interest towards her...unusual interest, she felt as though something wasn't right.
She looked up at him and his sharp trim and thick but neat beard. He felt her gaze and looked at her before offering her a small smile. She couldn't move any facial muscles, she was confused, guilty and simply comforted by his gesture. But she didn't want him to feel wrongly and feel like she was leading him on.
