I wonder daily what I mean to others.
Am I a passing glance?
A constant companion?
Where do I fit in the world?

Not that what other thinks matters,
My curiosity just takes hold.
My natural inclination towards the study of human nature
Keeps my mind filled with blistering thoughts.

Who am I today?
Who will I be tomorrow?
The answer is ever changing
And completely unclear.

I crave that knowledge, though.
I thrive at the possibilities.
My protagonist, an antagonist?
I could be a supporting character.

When you realize the novelty of life,
Seeing the positive and negatives
Makes the hard times easier
And the best times better.

Although I may be everything or nothing,
Whatever I do impacts the future.
I write my own story
And with that, I write the future.
