Chapter 8: The Approval

[Jasmine P.O.V] 

" hey" I say as I sit next to Ross on the couch 

" hey, what was that all about?" he asks 

" my brother is just being over protective. Nothing new" I say with a slight laugh at the end 

" oh, so what movie do you wanna watch?" he asks changing the subject 

" I actually picked some out" I say grabbing the stack of movies from the coffee table 

" we are watching this first" Ross says with a super serious face while holding up Romeo and Juliet 

" kinda figured" I say with a smirk 

" how" Ross asks confused 

" thats your favorite movie. I'm a fan. Remember" I ask him 

" oh right. I just forget how much people can know about me. I'm still kinda getting used to all the publicity. You know?" he explains 

" yeah I completely understand" I say 

" well anyway. How bout that movie" he says snapping out of thought 

" ok" I say taking the movie from him. I put it in and went back to sit beside Ross.

" gets better every time" Ross says when the movie is over 

" wow. You really do like this movie don't you" I say with a slight laugh 

" not as much as I like you" he says with a smirk 

" what do you mean" I ask confused 

" I mean, I really like you Jasmine. You're awesome. I know we sorta just met, but I was wondering if you would be my girlfriend" he asks kinda nervous 

" Ross, I would love to but what about Blake?" I ask 

" I approve" I hear from the door way 

" Blake were you spying on us?" I ask with annoyance 

" I told you I'd be watching you" he says before walking away 

" so????" Ross asks refuring back to his question 

" Ross Shor Lynch, I will be your girlfriend" I say with a big smile 

" yes" he says pumping his fist before pulling me into a big, warm hug. I am so happy. This is the best day of my life!!!!
