"You were crying, I was your hero that day" Stephanie smirked. Demi shook her head laughing lightly.
"That indeed you were. Remember how young we were?" Stephanie giggled.
"Do you mean how young you were? I'm the young one" Demi rolled her eyes and shoved a laughing Stephanie.
"Shut up" Demi said. Stephanie stopped laughing and turned back to Demi becoming serious once again.
"Remember how we used to talk for hours about all of our dreams"
"Remember how we just wanted to be someone big someday. And now we're both very known around the whole world"
"It's very crazy, you know just looking back at it all" nodding Demi stared into Stephanie's now blue eyes.
"Remember how shy we were on our first date" Stephanie laughed nodding.
"Of course. You had dyed your hair pink remember?"
"Yes. And you where wearing your sleeping with sirens shirt"
"You had a black dress on"
"I met your aunt that night" Stephanie shook her head.
"She's not really my aunt, just a close family friend"
"So she's an imposter. Wow I tried so hard to impress her" laughing Stephanie shook her head.
Turning serious, Stephanie asked the question that they both wanted to ask.
"Remember us" Demi looked into Stephanie's eyes nodding.
"How could I forget. You were my real first love" hearing that brought a smile to Stephanie's lips.
"We had some fun times Demi"
"Do you miss them?" Demi asked.
"Yeah" Stephanie nodded and turned to Demi "don't you?" Demi nodded as well.
Both girls stared into each other eyes and without even noticing they both started leaning in. Inches apart Demi asked.
"Do you remember our first kiss" Stephanie felt her breathe on her lips.
"Yeah. But you should remind me" Stephanie whispered. Demi didn't need anything else.
She cupped Stephanie's cheeks and looked into her blue eyes, moving in, their lips were just about to touch when Stephanie's phone rang. Sighing both girls pulled back, Stephanie took her phone out and answered.
"Ello, yeah, when?, today, uh sure. No no I mean it is done. Alright we'll be there in 20? Okay bye" Demi could tell it was Mia who had called.
"Uh Mia wants the song in about, 20 minutes." Demi was annoyed but didn't show it, instead she grabbed a notebook and pencil for both of them.
"Let's start" smiling, Stephanie wrote down a few lyrics, Demi read over them and smiled. "I love it" Demi then went on writing down her part as well.

The drive to the studio was quiet, Stephanie and Demi both were in their own little worlds thinking about that almost kiss.
Stephanie had thought about why she had let it go that far, while Demi wished she would've kissed her sooner. No doubt that both girls had wanted that kiss to happen but sometimes things aren't that easy.
"Okay girls let's see what you created" Stephanie handed Mia the finished copy of their song. Mia was shocked with every lyric then soon smiled hard but remembered the girls were still in the room now watching her closely. "Um, good job. Let's get started, shall we" Demi was the first to walk into the booth with Stephanie right behind her.
"Okay when your ready" Stephanie and Demi looked at each other once again and nodded.
Stephanie started playing and soon started singing...
