Paulit-ulit na kanta ni Mae sa aking tabi habang nagti-tipa sa kanyang laptop na naka-ngiti. It's been 30 minutes simula noong in-announce sa amin na we need to go to our Private Room, kung saan hine-held ang important meetings.
Important...
"Oy," siko sa akin ni Mae. Napatingin ako rito at tinaasan siya ng kilay. "Hindi kaya..." nagalalang sambit nito. "Tanggal na tayo?" Mangiyak-ngiyak nitong sabi.
"Don't think too much, lumalaki mata mo oh." Biro ko rito sabay ngisi. Sinamaan lamang ako nito nang tingin at inirapan bago bumalik sa kaniyang ginagawa. Love letter yata para sa 10 years niyang manhid at may girlfriend na crush, martyr.
After a few minutes sabay na dumating na ang iba at ang nagpatawag ng meeting.
"I'm so sorry about the late, Sail and Ship." Tumango lang kami. "Now, as you know this is once in a life time meeting for the passed few years." Paguumpisa nito.
"I've been busy for the past months, at talagang pinag-isipan ko ito nang mabuti. This decision of mine will not be finalized not until this two will agreed." He let out a big sigh and look at us, especially Me and Mae.
"For the passed years, you've exceeded my expectations. I will forever thankful for all your hardships for this agency." For the first time in history he smiled at us. Naguguluhan akong napatingin kay Mae, she shrugs and tumingin kay Head.
"Ahm, it looks like pinapaalis niyo na po kami hehe."
He sigh, a deep one.
"D.A.A wants you." He said in a final tone. Two words that makes me confuse. "The school of realms?" I asked.
"Yes, and they will personally invite you tomorrow. I'm just giving you a heads up. Nasa inyo pa rin ang desisyon even though they already told me. They didn't tell me the reasons, but I'm sure they need help." Seryoso nitong sabi.
I sigh. I will miss his emotionless face and cold tone.
Old man.
"And... what is it for the members? Kung kami lang, you can tell us personally and long live the Queen!" Mae asked and smiled. For the passed few weeks, napapansin kong may idudugdog itong nonsense words. I asked her multiple times kung may problema siya and she said 'Nothing duh!', what a brat.
"The reason why I called all of you is to announce who's going to replace your positions, or should I say a 'change of seats'." I don't like it. I don't want anyone to know what we're doing. This is bad.
"Can we begin?" Head.
I rolled my eyes and look at my side where I can see her bitch smile. Oh no, no, no you cannot be on my position, honey.
AFTER that intense change of seats I can now finally, peacefully resign, if I will just agree to go to that school. Right now, I'm walking down the hallway, holding my pouch and tapping it in boredom.
A wave of questions drawn me because of what happened.
Bakit ako pa? I don't even know anything about that school. Pangalan lang ang matunog hindi ang mga tao rito. Head said, the school has been inactive for the whole year and needed some extra hands, or should I say a 'new puppets'.
I'm a Judgemental girl with a boring life, before. Pero noong nakilala ko si Mae mas naging magulo ang life.
"Hey." Napatingin ako sa aking kaliwa ng marinig ang boses niya. "Mind to tell?" He asked.
"Not now, Red. If you heard the news, please keep it yourself." Wala sa katinuan kong sabi. I hear him chuckled. "If you say so. Anyways, Head wants us to do a one last mission." He playfully said.
I waited for about 2 seconds for him to speak but he didn't. I look at him and glared. Itinaas nito ang dalawang kamay at ngumiti. "You're gonna love it." He said.
"Red. In position."
"Ship. In position." (Mae)
"Brown. In position."
"Draw. In position."
"Welcome back, Draw. Have a nice day." Pagbati ko kay Draw. I heard him smirk over the earpiece.
I'm walking along the people here in the night market while eating a hotdog with spicy sauce.
"Nice hotdog, wanna share?" Mae ask. "No." Sabi ko sabay kagat. Lumingon-lingon ako na para bang ini-enjoy ang paglalakad. I pulled out my phone at itinapat iyon sa aking tenga.
"Hey, Brown. I just want to ask if you can check the papers in my room? I forgot to turn off my printer kasi eh." I said.
"Sure, boss." He replied."And oh. Please turn it off once you get out, thank you." Utos ko. After that ay inilagay ko na sa akin bulsa ang phone at muling kumagat sa hotdog.
Habang naglalakad ay lumiko ako ng daanan papunta sa public girl's restroom para kumpirmahin ang hinala ko. Well, napaka-inosente naman mga tao rito para paghinalaan ko.
Sa aking tantsa eh sumunod din ito sa direksyon na tinahak ko. Rinig na rinig ko ang pagyapak nito at ang patalim na gumagasgas sa pader. Papasok na sana ako sa restroom nang marinig ko si Ship.
"Hot and ready." I smirk. "Fire." I said, at pumasok na sa loob.
Pagkapasok ko ay siya naman pagtakbo nito at saka ko inubos ang huling bite ng hotdog at binuksan nang marahas ang pinto noong nasa harapan na ito, sabay kong tusok ang stick sa kaniyang mata. Itinuhod ko ito at sinuntok hanggang sa bumulagta ito sa sahig.
Nag-ayos ako ng damit at inayos ang suot kong scarf at bonet. Naglakad ako papa-alis doon at nag-blend in sa mga tao.
MAE/SHIP
Pagkasabing-pagkasabi ni Sail ng 'fire', kinalabit ko ang gatilyo ng RPG-7 na naka-tutok sa isang building. Bumubulusok na papunta ang granada sa building at nagmistulang fireworks noong ito'y sumabog. I smiled.
Inayos ko ang aking mga gamit at tumalon mula rooftop. 3 storey building naman so no worries. Pagkababa pumunta ako sa naka-abang na kotse at inilagay ang aking gamit sa trunk. Dumiretso ako sa driver's seat at nag-salita.
"Secured and burning." Report ko habang naka-hawak sa manibela.
"Copy. Ship, fetch Sail." Red said in my earpiece.
Ini-start ko na ang engine at humarurot. "My way." I replied.
Bago pa man ako maka-liko ay nag-iwan ang ng mark sa harapan ng nasusunog na building kung saan ako ang may sala.
Habang nagda-drive ay narinig ko sa earpiece si Brown na tila dumadaing.
"Fuck. Ship! Lagot ka sa akin!" Daing nito. I chuckled, "My way~" I sang.
After 5 minutes Nandito na ako sa night market at nag-park. Bumaba ako at isinuksok ang baby gun sa akin dibdib.
Pagkatapos ay nag-lakad na ako sa babaeng balot na balot sa gilid ng perya.
"Status?" Bungad nito. "Fireworks." Simply kong sabi, tumango ito at naglakad. Sinundan ko lang siya at nakarating kami sa isang sports car na kulay purple. Oh, so hot.
"We only have 15 minutes to change until we arrive at the venue." Pag-discuss nito sa details. Pumasok na kami sa loob at mas lalo pang namangha sa kanita.
Glow in the dark purple moon, stars, butterfly, and galaxies. Kawaii~
Nasa passenger seat ako habang siya naman ay nasa driver's seat.
