Human beings have unquestionably become the dominant race in the world. Though our bodies are fragile and short-lived compared to some of the older races, we can breed and multiply faster than any of them, and we have perfected ways to augment our weaknesses with steel and magic. We cut down enormous forests to build our cities and we have learned to breed animals for eating and developed science around growing and harvesting crops. These are the fruits of the glorious human will!

It comes as perhaps no surprise then that many of these older races refer to us as a 'cancer.' They are jealous of all that we have accomplished. They fear us because we dare to be bold.

--Romulus, First General of the Denigoth Imperial Army
