I see it all in black and white,
some shades of grey but that's alright.
The sky to me is always looming,
the flowers look depressing while blooming.
I see the jays and the crows,
I hear the caws down in their throats.
But I don't know what color is their maw.
I see little difference between summer and fall.
That isn't even the worst of all!
The worst part is I have never missed,
a chance to find beauty in it.
My world is dark and my mind is darker.
So listen now, do please hearken.
I know not the colors I see,
but I see beyond shade indefinitely.
You let the colors pass you by,
But you never pass by these colorless eyes.
