I notice that he starts to walk around the car and hops back in. The car pulls away from beside me.
"What happened?" I ask almost immediately.
"I'll tell you when we get home," he says gesturing to the kids in the back seat. "Don't want to wake them up."
I speed back to their house. When we pull up to the front of the house its 10:30. I carried Marcus in the house and Shane carried Chelsea. He fumbled with the keys and then finally got it in the lock. They both never even woke up when he picked them up.
"Just leave them in their clothes, Mom won't care," he says coming into Marcus' room. I set him down and pulled the blankets over him. He stayed asleep the whole time. We close the doors and go down stairs and sit in the dinning room. I let out a sigh after we had a moment of awkward silence.
"Sorry," he apologizes. I'm not sure what for, he didn't do anything.
"For what?" I ask confused.
"For making getting scared... It's my fault," he says grabbing the back of his neck making my heart beat overly fast. Why is he so attractive?!
"It's not your fault. First it was my fault, almost getting raped by a drunk guy, and you went all superman. Then you saved us from who ever that guy was that was following us," I say trying to make him feel better.
He let out a light chuckle. "The guy just wants a third rematch because apparently the other ones weren't fair or something," he says abruptly, rolling his eyes.
"Oh, I see," I say laughing.
"Yeah, he can't get over the fact that he can't beat me. I haven't been beat for the past six years, don't plan on starting either," he says with a wink, it sends shivers through my body.
There was a long silence, I ended it with an awkward yawn. "Want to watch TV?" He asks getting up.
"Sure," I agree following him into the living room, we take our usual spots.
We watched TV, and I laid down on the couch and put my head on a pillow. He looked over at me, "Tired?" He asked, I nodded.
"Mom said you could sleep in the guest room in the basement if you wanted instead of going back to your place" he offers. His eyes make him so innocent, they're so deep and blue.
"That's alright, my roommate would freak out if I wasn't there in the morning to make her breakfast," I say laughing.
We continued to watch TV, I slowly closed my eyes and dozed off.
Bacon? Is Shanelle cooking? My eyes slowly opened, looking around, what seemed to look different from my bedroom. Wait where am I? I look around more and realize I'm still over at the Carson's house. I realize there was a blanket pulled over me, and I'm laying on the couch.
I get up and fix my clothes, and walk into the kitchen to see Belle cooking.
"Oh good morning sweetie!" She says turning around to greet me, just to turn back to flip bacon.
"Good morning, was I asleep when you got home?" I ask confused not remembering falling asleep.
"Yeah, you were asleep with the blankets pulled over you and the tv off. So I just left you there to sleep, I didn't want to wake you," she says popping the toast from the toaster and quickly buttering it.
"Oh because I don't remember," I said confused, grabbing plates so she could set the toast on them.
"Oh! Look who's awake! Little miss sleepy head!" I heard an a familiar voice call.
