Chapter 68- Jacob Gets Juno!

"Hey guys." Ma'Kayla smiled. She ran to Prod and hugged him.

"Hey cutie. How's my little girlfriend doing?" Prod kissed her cheek. Jari laughed at Prod's comment.

"I'm fine, Prodigy. How are you?" Ma'Kayla asked him.

"I'll see y'all in a few. Watch her, Artemis. Juno. Here's so you can get her something to eat." Christan said and left.

"Let's go inside." Artemis said. We all walked inside in our little groups. I was by myself as I watched Jawan hold Juno.

"Hey Jacob." Ma'Kayla smiled as she grabbed my hand. "Can you teach me how to skate?"

"Sure. Let's get your skates." I smiled as Jawan paid for everyone's skate rental and entry.

"That's so nice of you, Jawan." I heard Juno squeal.

"I invited everyone. It's only right that I pay." Jawan said. I growled as I picked up Ma'Kayla.

"You like Juno?" Ma'Kayla asked me.

"Yes, I do. I really do." I sighed.

"What are you gonna do to get her away from Jawan?" Ma'Kayla asked as I got our skates.

"I really don't know, M'Kay." I sighed as I sat her down and put her skates on her then did mine.

"I'll take those." Artemis took our shoes as she skated by. I saw her put them in a locker with her and Prince's things.

"Come on, M'Kay." I said.

"Okay." Ma'Kayla nodded unsure.

"Don't worry. I got you." I held her hands as I skated and she just shuffled in front of me.

"Aww. So cute. Is she your baby?" Some girl came up to me.

"No! He is only sixteen and I'm two!" Ma'Kayla snapped at the girl.

"So she's your little sister?" The girl asked.

"No. My friend's niece. I said I'd teach her how to skate and now I can't back out of this date." I smiled.

"Aww. That's still cute. She must be a real good friend for you to watch her niece for her." The girl smiled.

"My best friend." I sighed.

"Come on, Jacob." Ma'Kayla pulled on my hands.

"Uh.."

"Maybe I'll see you around later." The girl smiled. I nodded as Ma'Kayla pulled me into the kiddie ring. I taught her how to skate and once she learned, she begged me to bring her onto the big ring.

"No, Kay. You're too small." I said.

"But there's four and five year olds that I'm bigger than out there!" Ma'Kayla put her hands on your hips. She was just like Artemis and Juno.

"Just let her on. She'll leave you alone." Juno said behind me.

"Learned how to skate yet?" I asked her.

"No. Turns out Jawan doesn't know how to skate either." Juno gave me a smile and an eye roll.

"Come on. Ma'Kayka knows how to skate, so I'll watch her as I teach you." I grabbed Juno's and Ma'Kayla's hands and we skated to the big ring.

"Come on, monkey." Artemis smiled as she passed by. Ma'Kayla let go of me and skated to Artemis and Prince.

"Don't worry. I got you." I told Juno as we stepped onto the ring.

"Okay." Juno said uncertainly as she shuffled next to me.

"When you skate, push with whatever foot you're on and put your weight on the other." I told her and she tried. She finally got it after ten minutes.

"You got it!" I smiled.

"Yay!" Juno squealed and hugged me. I took advantage of the hug and held her tightly to me.

"Uh..ahem." We heard someone cough next to us. We pulled apart to see Jawan standing there.

"Hey Jawan." Juno smiled.

"So I remembered how to skate. You wanna go around with me?" Jawan asked Juno. She looked at me and I shrugged.

"Sure." She nodded as "Girlfriend" by Jawan came on. I got off the rink and sulked as Jawan sang to Juno.

"What are you doing?!" Artemis slapped the back of my head as Ma'Kayla slapped my legs.

"You're letting him take your girl!" Ma'Kayla shouted. "Go get them to play one of your love songs and sing it to Juno! Now!"

"Damn. You vicious just like yo auntie Artemis." I rolled my eyes and skated to the DJ.

"Say, dawg, you could play one of my songs for me? I tryna get this girl, but this dude pushing me back." I asked the DJ.

"Dude, say, is you Jacob Latimore?" The DJ asked.

"Yeah, man. I need you to play "You Come First" by me for me. I gotta get my girl, ya heard me?" I said to the DJ.

"Fo' sho man. I got you. After this song, I'll help you get your girl." The DJ said.

"Thanks man." I nodded as I skated off.

"So?" Babydoll asked. She, Diggy, Prince, Ma'Kayla, and Artemis were sitting together.

"After this song, he'll play "You Come First"." I said as "All About Him (the Remix)" came on and everyone went crazy.

"Aye! Let's go!" Artemis said as she grabbed. She, Isis, Jari, Diggy, and Brittany hit the rink floor at the same time and started singing and rapping as they went around together. Prince, Babydoll, Ma'Kayla, and I laughed at them as the song started to end.

"Juno, come skate with me?" I asked as Jump came off the rink with Jawan.

"Sure." Juno smiled as You Come First came on. I sang it her softly as we skated. A smile was placed on Juno's face the whole time.

"When I'm your man, you gon' always come first." I sang as the song ended.

"Thank you for skating with me, Jacob." Juno smiled and hugged me. She even kissed my cheek. By the look on Jawan's face she obviously didn't kiss his cheek. "And yes."

"Yes what?" I asked confused. What the hell is this girl talking about?

"Yes, I'll be your girlfriend. Jawan knows nothing about me." Juno rolled her eyes.

"Yes!" I shouted as I pulled her in for a kiss. She was caught off guard but she kissed back after a few seconds. I pulled back. "Come on. Everyone must be hungry."

We skated off the rink and to our friends, who were smiling at me and passing around money.

"I told y'all motherfuckers that they'd get together by early August. Gimme my fucking money!" Artemis laughed. Everyone, but Star and Prince gave her money.

"I'm glad I betted the same thing as you." Star laughed with Artemis as they split the money between them and Prince.

"Wow. You bet on us?" Juno glared at everyone.

"Who wants nachos?" Ray asked and they all took off skating toward concessions. I just laughed as Juno tried to follow them but almost fell.
