Brittany

"Brit Brat, I'm sorry. Don't be mad." Ray grumbled through the phone.

After Artemis left to call Prince, Isis, Jari, and I called Roc, Prod, and Ray.

"Why shouldn't I be mad? My best friend didn't tell me where he'd be. You missed my birthday, Artemis and Juno's birthday, the girls march, and now you'll miss their play and debate. They really want you there. All of you. We're tired of coming in second place to your fans." I sighed into the phone. I heard Isis and Jari yelling at Roc and Prod in whispers.

"Why are you grilling me, Brittany? It's not like we're a couple or anything." Ray said.

That hurt like hell.

"You're right." I said and hung up in his face.

That jackass. He knows good and well that I like him, and he says something like that to me. I can't believe he would say something like that. I hate him so much some times. The stupid things he does kills me.

Jari

"Baby, I'm sorry." Prod repeated for the umpteenth time.

"Why didn't you just tell me? We heard about it on Instagram, Prod." I asked.

"I-I...I don't know." Prod sighed.

"We said we'd be completely honest with each other. Prod, I thought we had something special." I said.

"We do! We do! Jari, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry I didn't tell you and the girls, but it all happened so fast. One second we were home and the next we were on a plane to Paris. But that's no excuse. I'm sorry and I...I...I..." Prod stuttered.

"And you what?" I asked.

"I love you." Prod said simply.

I stalled. He loves me? Prodigy from Mindless Behavior loves me? Craig Crippen Jr loves me, Jari Smith?

"Jari? Jewel?" Prod asked.

"I love you, too, Prod." I whispered.

"Am I forgiven?" Prod asked me.

"Yes. Call me later." I smiled.

"Okay. Bye love." Prod said before hanging up.

I hope the girls worked things out with the other boys.

Isis

Roc was really pissing me off. The excuses he's making.

"What do you want me to say at 3 in the morning without it being stupid?" Roc asked after we continued to go back and forth.

"Say that you're sorry, that you were stupid for not telling me. I don't know." I said.

"I'm so sorry. I'm an absolute idiot for not telling you I was going out of the country. I promise that as soon as I get a break I'm taking you on a shopping spree." Roc said and I smiled, but quickly turned it into a straight face.

"Don't promise me something you know you can't keep." I said.

"Okay. I see. You're gonna be like my mama. She didn't believe I was gonna get her a car, but you just wait and see. You're going on a shopping spree." He rapped.

"You had to rhyme?" I laughed.

"Yes. I love you so much, Isis. I hope you know that." Roc sighed through the phone. His deep voice melting me like butter.

"I love you, too. Now go to sleep." I snapped at him playfully.

"Yes, ma'am. I'll tuck you in later. Or say good morning. Which ever happens first." Roc said. I laughed at his confusion.

"Bye Roc." I smiled.

"Bye Isis." He yawned and hung up.

"Can you believe them?" Artemis asked as she walked back into the room. It looks like we all got off the phone at the same time.

"No I can't." Jari sighed.

"They are never this forgetful. Never," Brittany said. "Ray is a total jackass."

"What did he do?" Artemis asked.

"I was telling him off about how he and the boys missed so much already and they won't be here for the play and he said, "Why you grilling me, Brittany? It's not like we're a couple"." Brittany said.

"And what did you do?" I asked.

"I said you're right and hung up in his face." Brittany scoffed.

"And he ain't call back?" Jari asked.

"No." Brittany said.

"I oughta beat his ass." Artemis grumbled and picked up her phone.

"Don't call him. They have to perform later." Brittany told Artemis and Artemis put her phone down.

"We'll set Ray straight, girl." I told Brittany as her phone rang.

"Hello?" Brittany answered with an attitude after she saw the caller ID.

"Speaker." Artemis mouthed. Brittany quickly put it on speaker.

"I'm sorry for what I said, Brit Brat. I'm just tired and I heard the other girls fussing at the boys. I know how you feel about me and I know that what I said was harsh. I'm so sorry, Brit Brat. Are we still best friends?" Ray gushed.

"I guess, Ray." Brittany sighed.

"You are the bestest best friend a guy could ever wish for," Ray said. "Have I ever told you how pretty your hair is? And your dimples?"

"Stop trying to sweet talk me. Flattery gets you no where." Brittany said as she cut her eyes.

"Love ya, Brit Brat." Ray said.

"Love ya, Ray Rat. Now go to sleep." Brittany said before hanging up.

"He is still a jackass." Artemis said before we started practicing again.
