Chapter 66- Roc's Birthday (Read At Your Own Risk)

Artemis walked between Diggy and Prince and they joked and laughed. Jari walked with Juno, Prod, and Jacob. Twist, Babydoll, Ray, and Brittany walked together. Star and Beauty walked together. Roc and I walked together holding hands-- swinging our arms back and forth.

"So have you ever been rock climbing?" Roc asked me.

"No, but I'm sure I'll catch on. I'm just worried for Artty. She's afraid of heights." I laughed softly.

"Oh yeah. I forgot. Prince and Diggy got her." He said.

"All Roc want for his birthday is Isis's big booty, yo! All Roc want for his birthday is Isis's big booty, yo!" Artemis, Jari, Brittany, Juno, and Babydoll shouted. They started twerking in their seats. They kept repeating it until we got to the rock climbing building.

"Like hell I do." He whispered in my ear. I gave a giggle as I slapped his chest. "So you trying to feel me up before tonight?"

I laughed again as people started to suit us up.

"I'll spot Isis." Artemis said, wanting to stay on the ground. Everyone laughed slightly.

"Babe, I got you. Don't worry. I got you." Prince hugged her as he got his gear on. Artemis just shook her head.

"Alright, Princess. You spot me." I smiled. She gave me a smile of gratitude. Once I got my gear on, Roc and I started climbing the gigantic wall.

"You okay?" Roc asked when we were half way.

"Fo'sho." I nodded and continued up.

When we got to the top, Roc and I rang the bell and it lite red and rang loudly. Everyone clapped when we made it the top. Roc pulled his rope and Prince pulled him down. I did the same and heard something snap. I felt my rope slack. My foot slipped. It was then that I realized that my rope snapped, and I didn't have a support.

"Help! Help me!" I screamed in terrior. Everyone gasped as they saw me dangling for my life.

"Isis! Hold on!" Roc shouted.

"Well, what hell am I suppose to do?! Let go?!" I shouted at him.

I prayed and prayed that I wouldn't fall and die.

"Isis, hook this to your vest thingy." Someone said calmly next to me. I opened my eyes to see Artemis.

"Artty?" I asked.

"Just hook this to your vest thingy and grab my hand." Artemis ordered as stared up at the ceiling. I grabbed her hand and used the other to hook it onto me.

"Now hold on." Artemis said then pulled her rope. Brittany and Jari pulled us down. Everyone started clapping as we descended.

When we touched the ground our friends came up and hugged us. Roc hugged me first.

"Baby, I was so scared. I thought you would fall." Roc sniffed in my ear. "I'm sorry I wasn't there to help you."

"Don't cry. I'm fine. It's not your fault." I said as we pulled each other tighter.

"Thank you, Artemis." I hugged her. She was shaking.

"I needed to save my sister. Even if it meant climbing that wall." Artemis took a shaky breathe.

"I think we should go." Twist said. Everyone nodded. After we took off the gear, we left for the mall. A safer place.

We all split up. Prince, Artemis, Diggy, and Babydoll went off together. Jari, Prod, Ray, and Brittany went somewhere. Juno, Twist, and Jacob went somewhere together. Beauty and Star went off together. Roc and I were by ourselves. We all promised to meet at the main entrance at 6PM.
