Chapter 64- It's Going Down Part 1

Start from the beginning

This isn't the vision those men had. They had the vision of freedom for their people. A vision where Blacks got the respect they deserved. The best education provided. Where we could live in peace.

A man had a dream to see little black boys and little white girls sit in a classroom together and not be judge by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.

Idiots out here aren't fulfilling the dream that people for them to succeed. They're shooting up houses and tearing down the world. Leaving children fatherless and babies hungry. Just to get them new J's.

This isn't the vision of the man who died believing in freedom for his people.

This isn't the vision of the man who signed the Emancipation Proclamation and freed the slaves.

This isn't the vision of the man who carried the cross with a crown of thorn on his head and died for our sins."

Diggy started clapping when I finished. I bowed and heard more clapping. I turned to see everyone standing by the door.

"Wow! That was great." Prince smiled and hugged me.

"Thank you." I blushed.

"So tired of that poem." Isis and Jari rolled their eyes.

"What made you write that?" Jacob asked as everyone settled down. I sat back down by Diggy, and Prince sat next to me.

"Well, first it was almost 2 in the morning and something told me to write this while I was up talking to that Afro Puff. So I wrote it. I didn't like it, but my friend said it was dope so I was like why not. I was forced to say in over the intercom for the whole school and now all of the teachers have their own copy." I explained.

"See what staying up with me until three in the morning can get out of you?" Prince joked.

"Yeah. It gets me forced to do something in front of my whole school." I pushed his big head. Everyone laughed and went into their own conversations.

"What were you and Diggy doing?" Prince asked me in my ear.

"Working on the song then we started talking. Why?" I answered him.

"I don't know. You were alone for so long." He shrugged. I had to laugh at him. He was jealous.

"You are so cute." I pinched his cheek. He swatted my hands away.

"Why is he cute?" Brittany asked.

"He's jealous." I said. Isis, Brittany, Juno, and Jari giggled.

"Why? Is Prince Charming afraid his Princess will be stole by the big bad Prince of Hip Pop?" Jari teased. She had us all rolling.

"Prince, chill man. I don't want Artemis that way. She's like a sister, man." Diggy smiled.

"Alright." Prince muttered. I kissed his cheek and he smiled.

"Plus, Diggy is with Kayla. I would never steal my cousin nigga. What kinda fam would I be?" I pouted at Prince. He kissed me in apologize. I rolled my eyes at him and he smiled.

"Sound check, b-- Oh all y'all in here. Well everyone we have sound check right now." Keisha told us. We all stood up and exited the bus.

After sound check, everyone started practicing their set. The line up went OMG Girlz, Jacob Latimore, Lil Twist, Diggy, Unique Royalty, then MB. Prince, Roc, Ray, and Prod were last since it was their tour. We were surprised when we heard we were second to last. Even though Diggy went before us, he had to come back out to perform All About Him Remix with us.
