I wake up with a raging headache, I look around to see that both Me and Maddie are in our dorm room. That's strange, I am wearing the same clothes as last night, the real question is what happened and how did I get here?
1 Month Later...
Abby's POV
It has been a month and thankfully not a lot has happened. Me and Maddie talked about Caiden speaking of which hasn't bothered me all month, maybe he finally came to his senses and is leaving me alone for good
We are in the hallway and I stop when I see Caiden, Maddie notices me and then turns me around
"Just talk to him"
"No Maddie. He's a jerk"
"He's not that bad-" She is cut off by my phone ringing. That's weird, it's from an unknown number. I pick it up with full curiosity
"Hello?"
"Hey sweetie"
"Umm who the hell is this?"
"It's your mother baby"
"I don't have a mother, so you have the wrong number-"
"I most certainly don't. I gave birth to you and your brother, I'm pretty sure that I know who you are Abigail" She says and I seethe through my teeth
"It's Abby. You do not have any right to call me after what you did" I whisper shout and Maddie looks at me with worry and I cover the phone
"I have to take this" I say while walking away. Once I am where nobody can hear me I start shouting
"What do you want Victoria" I spat and I hear her laugh on the other end
"You can call me mom-"
"I can buy I won't. You are nothing but DNA and blood to me"
"Well I want to rebuild our relationship"
"Well I don't. It's been 7 and a half years since you kicked me out! I was 13 and I had to fend for myself, you have no idea how hard that was for me. I watched as all the kids celebrated their birthdays and holidays while I stayed in the shadows unhappy and grieving. You automatically blamed me for what happened that day-"
"That's because your a little nuisance! You saw him and you did nothing-"
"THERE WAS NOTHING I COULD DO! He was going to do it anyway, but of course you f*cking blamed it on me and made me feel awful. Tell me, did you send me the letters?! Because if you did then your the nuisance, you made me feel even more pain. YOU KICKED ME PUT AND YOU KNEW THE TRUTH! You found the letters that day didn't you?" She doesn't answer
"DIDNT YOU?!" I shout and I can hear her crying
"Yes but-"
"There's no buts mother! You knew the truth yet you still left your daughter who just lost her best friend out in the cruel and cold world! Was it because of Caiden? Huh?! Because he was not the problem, it was you! You pressured him to be perfect and that's why he joined football. If that never would have happened then he would still be here! It's your f*cking fault that this family is even more broken now then it was back then, so you can take your sappy apology and shove it all the way up your ass, maybe it will give you a brain but I highly doubt it. Don't ever contact me again" I shout while hanging up the phone
I turn around the corner only to see Caiden so I scream and then slap him "you scared me!" I shout and he chuckles
"Sorry, I came to check on you. I saw that you looked upset so I followed you"
