Chapter 9: Kira is a Spirit?

L's POV

It's been a week. Light hasn't said anything. Misa still believes that I'm a stalker and Mr. Yagami has been every bit of sanity he has left. In the mist of all this, my mind is drifting of to Bunny. I'm worried about her being in there alone with Light, even though he's behind bars. I have this weird feeling every time I think about her. What was she hoping to accomplish by sitting in there with Light? I stared at the TV silently as Light rambled on under his breath

"Get rid of it!", he said and there was silence once again. Seconds later, his whole mood changed. He looked innocent and scared. Seconds after that, my phone ranged

"Kira isn't a person!", Moka said in a whispered "it's spirit or some kind of power"

"A spirit?", I asked and she answered with a simple yeah. Is that even possible? It seems like the only explanation.... That can be the answer as to why Amona and Light's change of personality and behavior...

"Thank you Moka", I said then paused for a moment before continued "how long are you going to stay there with him?"

"At least a week more", she stated and I sighed "I know you miss me, I'll be back soon"

"Just be careful", I mumbled then hung up. What has gotten into me? I feel all weird and tingly... Maybe I'm catching a cold? No, I never get sick... Then what is this feeling?

One month later.... Bunny's POV

It's been a month and nothing new. Kira started killing again and although Light is obviously innocent, Ryuzaki haven't told him about it. Seeing Mr. Yagami was heartbreaking, his hair that was combed back is not all over the place and a beard started to grow in. Light was now on the ground and Misa head hung as she sat bound. After Aizawa's speech, Ryu accepted the fact that they had to be let go

"Mr. Yagami, would you be will to come to headquarters just once? I would like to discuss my thoughts with you, but it must be done in person", Ryu spoke through the microphone "however, above all else I need to talk to you as Light's father"

"Alright, I'll come", Yagami spoke glaring at the camera.

After hours of Mr. Yagami and Ryuzaki being in that room, they came out. Mr. Yagami looked tired and worried

"Get yourself cleaned up, we'll start in ten minutes", Ryuzaki told him and I frowned

"Mr. Yagami", I called the older man and he turned to me "I apologize you had to go through this, no parent shouldn't have to go through this". He didn't say anything, just gave me a small smile and patted my shoulder.

Not to sound mean or cruel, but it was kind of funny. Anyway, we watched as  Mr. Yagami claimed to bring them to their execution for being Kira 1 and 2, and they looks on their face made me feel guilty. Light looked scared shitless as he rambled about how L wouldn't stoop to such a level.

After that problem was resolved, L seemed to look more confused. He obviously believed that Light was Kira and hoped that this situation was going to reveal that.

"Moka", L called from the other side of my room door "may I speak with you?"

"Um yeah! Just give me a moment", I replied hurrying up to dry from the shower I just took. Once I finish getting dressed, I opened the door with the towel still on my wet hair

"Did I come at a bad time?", he asked, his voice laced with amusement

"No", I blushed and shook my head, causing a few drops to fly around "what's up?"

"Tonight we're leaving to go somewhere more permanent", he stated and I nodded "Light and Miss Amona will be joining us, Light will be under my surveillance personal. Have your things ready in the next hour"

"Okay", I mumbled and began to close the door but he stopped it

"Are you okay with this?"

"I will tolerate it", I sighed and gave him a small smile

"That's good enough for me", he mumbled biting his bottom lip and removed his foot from the door "well I'll see you later"

"Yeah, later", I spoke and closed the door- well that was a bit awkward...
