Rachel's p.o.v.

I started to open my eyes when I felt like I was moving, I realized I was in a hospital, I tried to sit up, but I felt nothing but pain whenever I tried to, "don't move," I heard my mom say.

"What happened?"

"I don't know, I was called and told to go to the hospital right away," my mom said.

"Who got your number," I rubbed my head with my arm, "I can hardly remember my day after that last school bell."

I started to look around the room, I stopped when I noticed Anthony and Mak sitting in a corner, "you talked," Anthony said with a shocked face, "and I could understand you," Mak just glared at him, then at me.

"Don't you remember you idiot, you gave to Anthony to write down," well, that was rude, I wanted to cry, but I held it in.

"Mak, she said she couldn't remember anything past the last school bell, cut her some slack," I heard Anthony say to Mak.

"Now," oh no, mom, "if you are going to talk about my daughter that way, you can just leave," I heard my mom say.

I tried to sit up to see what was going to happen, but my mom came over and held me down... gently... of course, she wouldn't want to hurt me. I heard the door open, "is she up?"

"Yes, she is," I heard Anthony's voice say.

"Is she responsive?"

"Yes," I heard my mom say this time.

I heard footsteps coming over towards me, it was the doctor, "can you sit up so I can ask you some questions," I shook my head no, "here, let me help you," the doctor grabbed a remote from Mak's hand and he clicked a button that raised the bed.

"Why did you have the remote," Anthony asked her.

Mak shrugged, "I dunno, I wanted to see what it was for."

I saw my mom glare at her, "I'm going to have to ask the three of you to leave the room right now, I'll come get you when we're done," the doctor said, they all nodded, well all but Mak who was just being a jerk. "I kind of figured you were shy around people, we've done some x-rays and you have a broken leg, so you were very lucky," the doctor pulled out a clipboard and then looked at me, "other than that, you have some slight bruising on your bones, you'll have to take some prescribed pain killers for about a month and then you'll come back for a check up," the doctor handed me a piece of paper, "give that to your mom, and then someone else wants to ask you some questions."

The doctor started to walk out, "will I have to stay here over night," I asked quickly.

"Yes, your mom has already been notified about it, her and the other two said they would stay, you can come in now," I heard the doctor say to someone, he's not a very good doctor, I thought to myself.

I saw a big guy in a police outfit walk in, "can I ask you some questions so we can decide whether or not this guy is a criminal?"

I nodded my head yes, "I don't know if I'll be much help,"

"Just say what you can remember," I nodded my head, "do you remember him ever threatening you or anything like that in the past?"

"Yeah, at school, he had me held against a locker."

"Hmmm... do you know why he did that?"

"He said I was going to slow."

The police officer nodded his head, "where did you last see him and why did he hurt you then," I don't remember, I shrugged my shoulders, "was there anyone else around that could help answer these questions?"
