In the land of Ooo there are hundreds of princess's. Most aren't necessary and only rule over a tiny kingdom. I think that the reason there are so many princess and no real democracy, except in the candy kingdom is because of the mushroom wars. If the mushroom wars were started because of democracy then it would make sense that in the future the people would use monarchy . Another theories is that the princess's all followed PB (princess bubblegum) who is extremely old and as we saw in a previous episode, there weren't any kingdoms before the candy kingdom just tribes and gangs. So perhaps the princess decide to round up more of there kind and create a stable monarchy . But that just begs the question who is princess bubblegum?
