Believe Me

     I open a door to a room so that I can praying. Almost forgot he converted not that he told me. He's been ignoring me. He finishes praying and looks up at me.

"Excuse me," I mumble. He just stares at me not moving. "I need to pray," I tell him. He finally decides to move . I stand there praying. I could feel his presences as I was praying. It felt so weird. I pray to God that I marry the right man. As I say that Xavier pops up into my mind... crazy I know. I finish praying and he just stands by the door watching me. I look at him confused. He finally leaves.

I walk out going downstairs. "Let's go to the bonfire," Carmen says. I look around not even wanting to be at this party. "Ok," I mumble following her to her car. We get to the bonfire seeing that a few nonalcoholic drinkers, party going people were there. We sit down at a fire pit. I stare into the fire. "Hey Carmen, hey Z," I hear. I notice it was Gavin. Beside him was Xavier. He looks at me shocked. I stare into the fire to ignore his presences the best I can.

I look up to meet Xavier's gaze. I lower my eyes into the fire. Memories of the bonfire at my house come to mind. I start singing Spongebob campfire song. Gavin and Carmen sing along. I feel Xavier's stares and just ignore it. I see a smile on his face, that I haven't seen in awhile. "I thought you hated that song," he says to me. "Oh look you can speak," I smile. He just bits his lip. "I never hated the song, I said you were goofy," I tell him. "Guess who's goofy now," he says.
