Truth or Dare

Camila's P.O.V

The day had finally came. This whole week has being going so slow but tonight is the night of Lauren's party, Dinah came over and we got ready together. After what seemed like hours I finally came to a decision and decided to wear a plain, skin tight black dress that shows off all my curves. After we had done all the finishing touches we left and made our way to Lauren's party, words can not explain how nervous I am right now.

When we made it to Lauren's house it was filled with people from our school. Me and Dinah went inside the house and already the music was hurting my ears by how load it was playing. I didn't complain though I was to busy trying to find the green eyed girl but with all these people I find it hardly unlike that I'll be able to talk to her tonight. I gave up on looking for the green eyed girl so me and Dinah just grabbed a drink and made our way to the living room where a group of people were playing 'truth or dare'.

Normani saw us and called us over, she asked us if we wanted to play, I was hesitant at first but Dinah convinced me to play. We were about 10 minutes into the came and Dinah and Normani seem to be new besties after they both found out they like Beyoncé.

All of a sudden Lauren walked in, she was wearing a black dress and was showing a bit of cleavage, I couldn't help but stare and I think Normani noticed because she looked at me and smiled and then she called her over and told her to join in. Lauren just smiled and took a seat next to her, I couldn't help but stare, she looked gorgeous.

I was brought back to reality when Normani started talking "ok mila truth or dare", "uh truth","tell us about your first kiss" I choked, the truth is I haven't had my first kiss yet, I could feel my checks going red as everyone was looking at me waiting for my answer. " i uh" I could see Lauren looking at me " I um actually haven't had my first kiss" no on said anything they all just stared at me and I felt so uncomfortable I had to get out of here. "can you excuse me I have to use the bathroom" I said but everyone was now in their own conversations, as I was getting up Lauren stood up "I'll show you where it is" she said with a smile.

She gestured for me to follow her and I did, we made our way upstairs which was a lot quieter as everyone was down stairs. Lauren brought me into a room and by looking at it I'm guessing it's her room. "You can use my bathroom and I'll wait for you out here" she said while sitting on her bed, i made my way into the bathroom and tried to calm myself down, I must of been in there a while because I heard the door knock and then I heard Lauren "camila is everything okay in there", "uh yeah everything's fine" I said and unlocked the door, I was met by Lauren with that beautiful smile on her face.

I started walking towards the door when all of a sudden I felt Lauren grab my wrist "stay here for a minute, don't you think it's a bit noisy down stairs" "i uh, I guess so" was all I could get out. She directed me towards the bet and patted on it suggesting that I sit down which I obviously did.

We sat in silence for a bit until Lauren finally spoke up, "you know you have no reason to feel embarrassed that you haven't had your first kiss yet" I put my head down fiddling with my fingers "sure I don't. I mean what other 18 year old hasn't had there first kiss yet" I felt Lauren put her hand over my hands causing me to stop fiddling with them and look up to her. She looked into my eyes like she was reaching in and looking into my soul, a small smile started forming on her face. "do you want to?" I looked at her confused "do I want to what" she let out a little laugh, god I could listen to her laugh all day. "do you want to have your first kiss?" My eyes shot open when she said that I kept looking at her to see if she'll laugh and this will all turn out to be just one big joke but she didn't all of a sudden she started leaning in, I could feel the butterflies in my stomach, was this actually happening am I actually going to kiss my crush! I could feel her breath against my lips as she was getting closer to me and just as we were about to kiss we heard a knock at the door. Great just great.
