Cry

is there some unwritten law

that states crying is wrong

can we not cry in public

for all to see

is it wrong to show emotion

whenever we feel raw

can we cram it into a song

and leave it be

do we need all these walls

to cry behind closed doors

whats wrong with the world

are you trying to act strong

this is no life for me

to bottle anguish

inside for all but me to see

no one needs to feel alone

just remember

you'll always have friends that care

so cry your weights worth in tears

don't bottle it in and implode

lighten the burden you bear

by lowering your defences

and let your friends hear
