Why
why is goodbye
so hard to say
why do we always
have a tight grip on yesterday
why do we have to lie
to fit in
and to love
why cant we be sure
who set it up this way
the bad guys are hot
and the good guys are not
why must the world be
cruel to the point of death
one should think its rigged
who set the bar
for how we live
oh
that's right
its us
