prom

Prom

all dressed up

in things of gold

wearing heals inches tall

floor length gown of gold and cream

waiting to be seen 

feeling anxious 

for it to begin 

heart beating ten times fast 

cant seem to catch my breath

counting down hours one by one

it's going to be so much fun

dancing with friends

and dates too

just cant wait 

for this day to end

so we can get ready
