IT'S BEEN A WEEK since I've last set foot in that old high school, since I've put a brush to a canvas, and since I've seen that tall, tired boy.

Cole.

Since the art class and our short interaction, I couldn't shake him from my mind. Part of me felt guilty that I was even thinking of a boy other than Jason. Jason was the love of my life. We got together our junior year of high school, and stayed together. We graduated together, even went to college together here at NYU.

That is until Jason dropped out, he put other things in front of school, and me, like going out late to different clubs and bars, and now his recent most important thing, drugs.

All I knew about was the weed, I could smell it on him whenever he would slip into bed late at night from being out all day, but with how secretive Jason is, weed probably isn't the only drug he's tried.

I scroll through the google page I had opened on my laptop:

With Cole on my mind everyday since we met, I decided to do something about it. Maybe there would be another class coming up soon, and maybe with a model, or if not maybe by some slight chance, Cole would attend the class as a student.

I mean, he seemed like the artsy type.

I subconsciously play with my septum piercing as I lean closer to the screen to read the search results. One catches my eye and I scroll back up to click it.

Painting class with Model, Friday January 15th! McKinley High School

My stomach flips anxiously, this is the same school the last class was held at. Could Cole maybe be the model they're talking about? I don't know why I have the need to see him again, but something is telling me to. I know Jason won't care if I go to this class, he doesn't care about nor appreciate art.
