chapter 12.. Janie's secret revealed

Janie’s POV

   “Who?” Jake spat at me, as more tears ran down my face

 “I can’t tell you” I whispered and got my stuff together I ran into the bathroom locking myself away..

Nobody knew.. But I still cut. Life wasn’t at all what I expected it to be.

I opened my bag and took out a small case, I opened it and took out my blade

I had no place left on my hips so I rolled up my sleeves and began to cut.

Slowly dragging the blade across my wrist, Gasping in pain as the blood began to pool on the ground…

Tears began to fall as I began savagely cutting my other wrist.

I squeezed my eyes shut and I dropped the blade, feeling weak I got my phone and Texted the only person I could love so much

“Leigh, I cut again

I’m sorry”

I switched off my phone and sat very still until the pain began to subside, I cleaned up and erased all evidence and bandaged my arms

I packed my stuff back into my bag flushed the toilet so the blood filled tissues would disappear..

I walked out Jake wasn’t here. Maybe he died!

I regretted thinking that of him. It was my fault not his. I’m the one who killed Lilly and sent him into this spiral

As soon as I switched my phone it began to ring, I checked the caller ID. It was Leigh.

A small smile appeared on my face but vanished.

“Hey Leigh” I Answered

“Janie!” her voice filled with relief and worry

“Are you okay? Where are you?” she sounded like she was calming down

“Is Chris there?”  I asked quietly

“No” she replied “he’s out by his family for 5 days”

I nodded to myself. “I’m coming over”

I hung up and grabbed my keys and walked out.

Chris’s Pov

I was hanging out with my younger sister, Angelique. Thoughts of Isabella swirling around in my head.

   “What’s wrong Bro? you seem down” Angelique asked me

I looked at her, I knew I could trust her.

  “I’m In love with someone else” I spat out I felt a huge relief wash over me,

Finally, someone knew

  “What’s her name?” she asked. I gulped.

  “Isabella” I smiled as her name left my lips

Ang kind of looked at me with an unreadable expression.

  “you should go home and tell Leigh” she whispered giving me a hug

   “I love you bro and I’ll support any decision you make. If you think Isabella is the one then go for it” I smiled at her

   “Thanks Angelique” I squeezed her then got into my car I was going to tell Leigh what was going on even if it killed me. Literally

Meaningless words ran through my head as I tried to think of a way to tell her without hurting her too much.

I owed her that much, But I knew what I said would have to be the truth. 

She deserved to know exactly what was going on.

I parked the car and sighed to myself. I was already getting cold feet.

I looked at the front door.. It was opened?

I ran to the door and Gasped.

“what the hell” I whispered.
