Class

In the morning, I stumbled around my room and chucked some clothes on.

I hade denim skinny jeans on with a top that had 'Greenday' on it.

"Mum! I'm leaving!"

I called out to her as I nearly tripped over my untied converse.

"Cya!" She smiled at me from the kitchen and I returned  it.

When I got to school, it was typically busy.

Luke and Calum would be in class today, hopefully.

I still didn't know if anyone else knew about the move but I still won't mention it.

My feet dragged me to the English class and as I flopped in a seat next to the window.

Luke or Calum weren't here yet.

Gabby came in and shot me a glare.

It's ridiculous that she's even angry and I'm not.

Gabby just frustrates me now.

The teacher strutted in and started writing stuff on the board.

My fingers twitched, my head whirled around looking for them, my eyes darted between spaces and I couldn't help but tune out.

Then, right before class actually started, Luke, Calum and a bunch of other guys walked in.

Calum sat in the seat next to me and smiled when I looked at him, Luke sat behind me.

A breath of relief aired out of me and I turned my head to face the teacher.

I don't even know what time it was, or when the class ended.

My body fully shut down and I just stared outside.

Suddenly I heard scrapes of chairs, kids drawing out papers.

"Homework." Calum mumured to me.

So he noticed that I wasn't paying attention.

I always payed attention in class, ESPECIALLY English.

I was the best in this class. but right now, I wasn't even focused on that.

I blandly drew out my sheets of homework and set them on my table.

Half of the first sheet was filled in and most of them were wrong.

I didn't do my homework.

I was the last person to have their homework collected, and when she saw it I knew that I wasn't going to get away with it.

She started up the seat isle and the I saw her going through them.

Her eyes landed on one as she turned around and stood tall at my desk.

The entire class looked at me, I could feel Luke's eyes piercing into me.

"What's this?"

She pulled the sheet off the top of the pile and slammed it on my desk.

I didn't say anything.

"I expect better, young lady." She hissed.

Her face came closer and I could smell her horrible breath.

"Don't make me say it one more time. What. is. this?"

She growled at me almost.

A feeling came over me that made me not only angry, but brave.

"My homework." I said it smug, but not too much so I would be blamed.

Her face inched away and she picked up the paper, tearing it.

Then she scrunched it up and strutted back to her desk and tossed it in the bin.

Wow, what a bitch.

"Zoe, go to the principals office. Don't come back."

She didn't even look up and me.

My chair flung back and I grabbed my bags, not caring less.

I slung it on my shoulders and pushed through the door and walked.

At lunch, I went straight to the cafeteria.

The principal didn't care, he just made me sit outside of his office.

I lined and got my food but then my complete appetite changed.

I didn't want to be here, or to eat.

I turned around, holding my tray and saw Luke and Calum.

Luke's eyes connected with mine and he started waving, but I just slid my tray into the scrap part and trodded out.

I was going through my locker to get my stuff when Gabby was there.

"Hi." She almost hissed.

"What do you want?" I growled at her.

"Nothing, I just want to tell you something."

Gabby looked genuine I guess.

"What?" I started walking away with her on my heels.

"Okay, look I'm sorry. And you don't have to forgive me but this's important."

She grasped my wrist and I spun around, wrenching myself out of her clutch.

"What?!" I almost screamed.

Gabby looked scared but she sighed.

"Luke doesn't like you, Zoe. He said some pretty nasty things about you when he was at the party."

I squeezed my eyes shut and ignored her trying to reach out again.

"I just don't want you to get hurt."

She brushed a piece of hair out of my face.

I took a step back and glared at her.

"All you want is for me to get hurt!" And I walked away.

So I know this's short and crappy but it'll pick up after this and yeah, shit with go down!
