The "day out with Odell" was going well pretty well. We did a total of 4 races. First time I won first place, then he won first the next two times then the final time I won. It was a tie but we were both tired of racing so we decided to go inside and eat.

"You enjoyed yourself today?" Odell asked me as he bit into a fry.
"Honestly, yeah. You act so different when you're not around your friends. It's like you turn into a new person." I joked, earning a laugh from him.
"So I've heard." He said. "But um, I'm sorry about everything I said to you Yvonnie." That actually sounded sincerely...Wow.
"You know you really hurt me when you say those things about me or towards me. I would cry myself to sleep multiple nights, hoping I could be like those slim thick girl y'all go for. I even attempted suicide, thank god it failed."
He had his head hung low after I told him that.
"I'm so so sorry Yvonnie." He apologized once more. I nodded and shrugged.
"It's alright."
There was an awkward silence after. That was until he decided to speak.
"So you know prom is coming up in 2 weeks right?" He questioned. I nodded and sipped on my drink of fruit punch.
"I wanna ask you the proper way. So Ms.Yvonnie Campbell, would you please do me the honor and go to prom with me?"
I nodded with a huge smile plastered on my face. "Yes I would."
He smiled and chuckled. "Thanks. Are you finished with your food?"
"Uh, yeah." We both got up and threw our trash away.

This day with Yvonnie was nothing but fun. I had a great time and I didn't want this day to end, believe it or not. Yvonnie is really a cool person to hang around.
After we finished eating, we decided to go to the arcade and play some games. The first game we played was the basketball hoops.
"I hope you know I'm just as good in basketball as I am in football." I told her, putting in my tokens so the balls could come out.
"Yeah, alright." She smirked and put her tokens in. Both of our basketballs came out in the same time and the time began. We only had 30 seconds.
I grabbed the first ball and attempted to put it in the basketball but I missed. I looked over at Yvonnie and she was already made two baskets. She was so focused and it was...cute. Wait what? Chill out Odell. I went back to shooting and after 10 seconds, the buzzer went off. Yvonnie made a total of 5 baskets and I only made 3. She grabbed her tickets from the side and smiled at me.
"So you're good in basketball too?" She held up her tickets with a giggle. Her giggle was adorable.
"I am..I just let you win." I said.
She playfully rolled her eyes, "Yeah whatever Odell. Where you wanna go now?"
"They got any football games in here?" I questioned her. She shook her head no.
"Nope." Suddenly her eyes lit up, "Ooh, I see the Typhoon ride! Let's get on it!" She referred to the motion stimulator ride. I followed her to it. We both put in our amount of tokens required and sat back. She pressed the number 2 then quickly sat back.
The theme of number 2 was that a boulder was chasing us in this tunnel. It was my first time getting on this and when it finished, it was fun. Yvonnie and I both got out laughing for no apparent reason.
"So did you like it?" She asked. I nodded in response.

Odell and I played a few more games then stopped. It was around 6 and I was ready to go home. We left the place and got into his car and drove to mines. I really had fun today though, but I'm tired now. During the car ride, I ended up falling asleep.

"Yvonnie...Yvonnie...Yvonnie!" I heard someone call my name repeatedly and tap me. My eyes opened and I realized Odell was calling me and I was at home.
I unbuckled myself out the seatbelt and started stretching. I turned to Odell and smiled.
"Thanks Odell. I had so much fun today." I thanked. He shrugged and smiled.
"You're welcome Yvonnie. I had fun today too." I leaned in and gave him a hug before getting out. I about to close the car door when he called me. I looked at him with my eyebrow raised.
"Yes?"
"Can I take you dress shopping next week?" He asked. I nodded and smiled.
"Sure." I closed the door and walked to my front door steps. I took out my house key and unlocked the door, walking inside. I closed the door behind me and went upstairs in my room.
I flopped back on my bed, today was nothing but fun.
