RedLipClassic : Goodnight, Eli! :*

I shut my laptop off and immediately went inside the bathroom to take a bath.

Sitting in the tub and bringing my knees up to my chest, I wrapped my arms around it as I looked at the ceiling.

Why won't you talk to me, Karlie?

It's killing me. Missing her is killing me. Do you know how people will say that you'd only value something once they're already gone?

It's true.

When Karlie was here right beside me, I never appreciated the warmth of her body as were snuggling on the couch, watching our favorite movies till 3 in the morning, sometimes watching the scariest movies to scare ourselves to death, only to find ourselves unable to sleep even with the lights on.

I miss being comforted by her. It was simple, all she had to do was to hold my hand and squeeze it as she flashes her signature smile at me. A smile so contagious, a smile that could wash away your worries, a smile that could lighten up to load of your heavy heart.

I miss the way how she'd wrap her arms around me when I am cold. I want to be tickled by her warm breath again as she rest her chin on my shoulder while hugging me from behind. I miss watching the New York's sparkling city lights with her in her apartment's balcony, while were suspended in that embrace.

How did I fall for her? I couldn't remember. I just woke up one day, heart beating not for a man but for a woman. It was magical and painful. Painful knowing that she might not feel the same way towards you yet magical for the feeling it gives you is indescribable.

The feeling of waking up each day, smiling even with just a simple message of good morning or hi? The feeling of butterfly erupting in your stomach whenever she says she misses you or she loves you? The feeling of heat on your cheeks whenever her lips touches my skin? The feeling of wanting to be suspended in the embrace forever?
That feeling of seeing only her, among the sea of people surrounding you?
The feeling of finding peace in her arms, a peace you never thought that would be possible to feel in this chaotic world.

"Hi Harry," I smiled and wave at him before walking up to him.

He pulled me in for a warm embrace before taking a stroll at the park, talking about what had happened yesterday. He was proud of me, he kept on saying that once I made it in the music industry, he'd be the first one to buy my album and frame it into his wall. He makes me laugh, he makes me happy but why do I still feel so empty?

The laughs that's escaping from my lips are hallow and the smiles that I flash isn't as radiant and lively as before.

It was 5 in the afternoon, when we stood right next to each other on the bridge, leaning our elbows against the rail while watching the sunset slowly dip onto the horizon. I couldn't help but to remember her again. I couldn't help but to remember how she held me in her arms when she asked me,

"Who am I in your life, Taylor and how do you see this friendship in the future?"

We were watching the sunset during those times, watching the sun dies as the day finally gives way to the night.
