'You're messing with the wrong bitch!' I said to the lawyer who was blocking my exit to the car park.

'Oh, is that a threat?' she mockingly smiled.

Smile all you want, slut. Smile all you want before you die.

She continued.

'It's funny, Maria. Considering the fact that you're a transgender woman. I'm sure nobody wants to sleep with you.'

'Look, Aniya. I can file a lawsuit against you for trying to corrupt the Judge.'

She hit the glass door hard and came nearer towards me. 'Don't pretend like you don't know what I'm talking about, you filthy slut. You better don't want me to file a lawsuit against you for—,' she paused and looked around for video cameras; there were none, ' you-know-what-you've-done.'

Oh. So, she knows.

'I don't know what you're talking about, Aniya. But, I'm a Judge and you better fucking mind it,' I knocked her hand out and walked towards my Ford Telestar.

She must've stopped then. She didn't. She shouted. 'Run, liar. You fucking run. Practice running. It'll come helpful when the cops realize how much of a horrible deed you're doing.'

That was it. I turned back and charged towards her. A public prosecutor shouting at me after a tiring day at work was the last thing I wanted. 'You see, bitch. only you and I know what you're talking about. But once the press finds out, they'll come up with theories.' I listed a few of them, 'They'll say you are a racist. A transphobic person. An egomaniac.'

I saw sweat trickling down her face. 'I've been following you since your third case. You can't escape from the Law, Maria. They'll come after you someday,' she muttered and rushed back to the 11th floor where her office was located.

I just stood there, thinking about what my boyfriend once told me: 'The Law is hard, Maria, but it is Law.'
