Gibbs POV.
When Abraham pulled his gun out, Lexi had her hand on her gun but he managed to shoot first. Then Mike shot Abraham in the head. I ran over to Lexi,
"Alex!" I shouted
I put my hand on her gun shot, I heard Mike, my good buddy, call 911. I knelt beside Alex and I thought the rest of the world disappeared.
I was being moved over by the paramedics was the next thing I remember. I jumped in the back of the ambulance, and sat in there next to Lexi. My mind went to Shannon and Kelly, I started crying in the ambulance, I've lost a lot I can't lose Lexi.
It felt like hours, no days before the doctor wanted to see me.
"She's stable" he told me
I rubbed my hand against my face.
"Thank god" I say "can I see her"
He nods
"I'll be in room 421, if you need me" the doctor tells me
Then walks down the hall.
I walk in the room and take a seat next to Lexi.
"Hey" I say
Her eyes flicker open and look at me.
"Yes Boss" she responds
I stroked her hair,
"Lexi," I breath
She didn't respond, she fell asleep again. I leaned in and kissed her forehead.
"Night little girl" I whisper
Then I decided to tell the doctor she's asleep. I walked into room 421, I stopped short. I thought I saw a ghost, but it was real life.
"Jenny Shepard?" I say shocked.
