A/N: Here we are. So it seems I really should quit procrastinating and waiting until the last minute when they're due, to make these... Anyways, the prompt for this contest has to do with favourite Disney movies and whatnot. Mine I had written down was Pirates of Caribbean. Long story short, I'm taking the adverary's point of view (Lord Beckett), and his feelings upon wishing to catch Jack Sparrow so very badly throughout the series.

Run, run,

mate.

But I'll catch you,

You dratted

pirate.

Or rather will fate.

For if I didn't,

History will remember me,

As bloody second rate.

~

Ay, yes.

Slip through my fingers,

once more.

Blatantly hidden in plain sight.

Ah, but I shall snatch you up,

With all of but a fight,

Hold you captive,

Well out of sight.

And yes,

yes of course,

You're very welcome,

Ah, it's been my treat,

pleasure and delight.

~

Is this right? Well yes,

Though you'll never confess,

Your crimes,

And how you steal.

And waste,

Our precious Crown's dimes,

On your rum,

And adventures,

Silly sparring matches.

But never worry, dear lad,

I'll come here,

clad,

In my proper Crown's suit,

And capture you,

And what's yours,

Will be mine,

'Till the end,

Of time.

~

Ah, but with your skilled sword,

You strike.

Clashing the waves,

In a hurricane

Yet you remain safe,

And sound, all the same,

To meet me at the worlds end,

Yet still you came.

In the calm,

In the eye,

Of the hurricane,

For impatient,
