The letter read:
"Dear Mom,
If your reading this, something terrible happened. I have known this would happen for along time, but there was no way to prevent it. I have been receiving multiple letters from someone I do not know telling me what to do in order for this not to happen. However I have not done everything i have been told. If i had told you about this sooner he would have killed me and you. I hope to get in touch with you over the phone soon. I have a plan.

Helen could not believe what she had just read. She sat on her daughter's floor wiping away the tears that were running down her face, totally distraught. It was getting late so she walked into her bedroom and slept. Her dreams were filled with terrible thoughts of where Emma was.
RINNGG!! RINNGG! Helen was woken by the sound of her house phone ringing. She quickly jumped out of bed and picked up the phone.
"Hello.?" Helen said, hoping it was Emma.
"Hello, Helen. It's Officer Maxwell, I'm sorry to inform you that we found the body of a teenage girl in the woods. It may be Emma."
