"What?" Emilee said as she gave me a confused look.

I wasn't able to speak from how excited I was and only shoved my phone in their faces. BaeYoung grabbed it and began reading it.

"What is JYP?" Emilee asked as she too read it.

"It's an Korean entertainment company, idiot!" BaeYoung said and flicked the girl's forehead. I laughed as I saw Emilee flinch and then whine about how it hurt.

"Why did you do that?" Emilee asked as her green eyes glared down the darker haired girl.

"Well I had to stop the blondeness coming from you." She retorted and gave my phone back to me. "So are you going to do it?"

"I don't know actually. I didn't mean to get signed." I mumbled while playing with my dead ends.

"Oh hush it! This has been your dream. You have books of song writings and you have your names on labels!" BaeYoung yelled loudly.

"Be quiet!" I hushed and shoved my hand onto her mouth. "I have my name on 3 songs actually."

"So what? Do it!" Emilee said and smiled encouragingly.

"We should throw a party before you leave." Suddenly BaeYoung said.

"No! I want to go quietly. No parties." I said and pushed BaeYoung into our chemistry class.

The class started and I couldn't concentrate. My knee kept bouncing and my hands were shaking nervously. I almost spilled acid all over BaeYoung because I was so out of it.

"Go home." Emilee mumbled to me as she wrote down all the observations.

I brushed my black hair out of my face and stared at her. "Why should I?"

Emilee slammed her pencil onto the counter and glared at me. "Stop acting like you being accepted to JYP isn't a big thing. It is."

"Aissh!" BaeYoung grumbled agreeing with Emilee.

"Yah! What are you talking about?" I asked.

"I want you to go. I want to say my bestfriend is famous." Emilee said then smiled weakly.

"Yeah, me too. I want to say, my best friend is Jai Lin. International superstar!" BaeYoung said over dramatizing it.

"Stop it with your acting." I laughed as I punched BaeYoung's arm and smiled at my two best friends.

"Hey! I am an actress, let me act." BaeYoung said and we all laughed loudly which got us a death glare from our teacher.

I walked up the steps to our normal looking house and pushed the heavy door open. Right when I walked in I could smell my mother's cooking. I followed the scent with my nose and saw my mom taking out some casserole from the oven.

"Hey mom," I started and she turned to look at me. Her glasses were hanging off of her nose and her apron was caught in the drawer.

"Why are you home so early?" She asked as she ripped the apron from the drawer.

"Well, I have something I want to talk about with you."

She gave me a continuing look and I took in a deep breath. "Okay so you know how I'm korean?"

"Yes I know. It wasn't so long ago we took you in." She said giving me a confused look.

"The thing is, I got accepted to go to JYP Entertainment and to train there."

"Where is this 'JYP' place at exactly?"

"In Seoul." I said and she sighed loudly.

"You are telling me to let you go to Seoul?" She asked angrily.

"You know I've been dreaming about this since I was-"

"Since you were 8, and we brought you into this country and all you want to do is go back?"

"Mom, it's not like that!"

"Then tell me why should I let you go?" She asked as she gave me a challenging look.

"I think it's a better chance for me to become a better singer and dancer." I said quietly as her blue-grey eyes glared at me holding in so much rage and other raw emotions.

"No absolutely not!" She yelled and started walking away from me.

"Mary, I am 18 I think I can make my own decisions." I snapped and she turned around quicker than I can count to one.

"Oh, so you think you are so mature now don't you?" She yelled her face getting redder with anger.

"Yes," I tried to say but my voice faltered.

"If you want to go, go." she snapped sarcastically. "I'm not going to let my mature 18 year old daughter suffer anymore."

"Mom, I'm not going to leave you. I am always going to be your daughter and you will always be my mother." I said softly staring at the ground then met her familiar blue eyes her red hair falling in her face.

She stood there for a few seconds only staring into my eyes. I could feel the tears falling down my face. "Is this really your dream?"

I nodded my head and I could tell she was trying not to cry as well. "Okay, I will support you. Just promise that you will come back if things don't work out."

"This means so much to me mom." I said as I hugged her, her arms instantly wrapped tightly around my waist.

In one week I will be at JYP to learn with the best.
