It all began with a simple date...

Chapter 10

        You had to pay a heavy price obviously but you managed it without arising much suspicion. Since you both had left no traces in there, they had to eventually take you both as a lost cause and a failed experiment. And with that began a start of a new experiment: Angelica.

           Well, they did search a lot to find their missing tests and you managed to really keep a low profile, making it harder for them to find you. But you both didn't separate as per promised.

         With time, they had to give up and move on. And both of you opened up a little and lived in an abandoned bungalow which you changed it into something great with good splendour by using your feminine magic.

           It was situated just on the outskirts from the city and a little far from the labs you planned on escaping. It was funny how they are still unable to detect you both.

           Instead of them trying to keep a watch on you, it was your turn to do that now. The tables had completely turned.

         You waited for time to come to your aid where they would completely forget about their former test specimens and erase all traces of your weakness to instil new ones that were needed to keep the new one from escaping. And when they finally did, Luke and you came out of your little box and took up a job as interns in the laboratory.

          Obviously taken under the cloaks of disguise since you could not afford them to recognize both of you. You were taking a lot of the risks in hand. You know that you were taking Luke with you and playing right into Fate's hand. But you had left something behind and you were there only to get it back.

          And Luke supported you whole-heartedly. For, two reason: First that he agrees with you... And the second, that he would not let you risk your life all alone.

         As you started with your job, your plan was to earn the trust for it actually succeed.

         You both proved to be fast learners and did the small jobs given very quickly with accurate success.

          As time passed by, you two did earn the trust of the entire lab faculty and was known as one of the most knowledgeable people there and soon they were rely on the two of you there with the new project. You both were placed right under the head of the operation: Father. Which actually increased the chances of your risks.

          He was the Creator thus he would know what he created even if placed under disguise. However he didn't really catch us. Maybe because he is too busy. Or maybe because he finally had some feelings and would let it go. Or maybe he just doesn't care. But that is something that you'll never know.

            Since the time, now when directly placed under the head, you were allowed various privileges. And it allowed you to get close to the test subject and run through her records.

          You gave the records to Luke to study them while you tried to get closer to the girl. At first, she didn't trust you at all and was scared. But with time, you got her to trust you and she enjoyed spending time with you. She began to love you.

          And suddenly out of nowhere, she disappears.

         At first, it got you worried but later you get to know the test that had been executed. The same test that once upon a time Luke and you had to go through. And that got you a little scared.

          You didn't know how you were going to find her. You didn't know if she would even be alright on her own. So you sent to Luke to look out for her.

           Luke made the excuse that he wasn't feeling well, took his leave and he did his part faithfully. While back in the labs, you continued your research.
