Skyler's pov: My first day at my new school, a new state, a new house. I hate it. I hate it all. It's freaking cold in Minnesota. But hey, I'm in the same state as Justin Drew Blake so it's not too bad I guess. "Skyler your going to be late!" My mom yells. "Coming" I say back. I jog down the stairs wearing my black leggings and my pink and black floral crop top with my white high top converse and my hair in loose curls. I grab my phone and backpack of the kitchen table and run out to the car. I grab the keys out of my moms purse and start the car, my driving test is in a few months so for now my mom drives me. As she gets in the car and pulls out I get butterflies in my stomach. "What if i don't make any new friends and I'm forced to sit alone" I think to my self while staring out the window and humming along to I hate you I love you by gnash when my mom stops the car. " have a great day Hun, I love you very much." My mum says. "I love you too mum." I say back. I get out of the car and feel my stomach drop, "this is going to suck" I whisper to myself.
