And so you only knew your world as the lab and the little playground established for the two of you were kept constantly under watch, fearing that you may just break under the external pressure.

You clearly remember the silly times when after class Luke, as naughty and a born prankster he is, always managed to bring a smile on your face. Even when all the pranks concentrated solely on you.

The time when he put gum on your hair and you had to cut all your long luscious hair till right above your shoulders. And you loved it so much as soon as you saw the new you in front of the mirror.

The time when he started a water fight in the special class you both were put into and Father had been so pissed about it that he had punished both of you to be grounded for a week in your boring white rooms.

The time when a whole box of red paint had fallen over your head when you opened the door and when he saw you were on the verge of crying, he painted himself as a typical clown and began to dance, only to make you smile and eventually laugh.

The time... You could go on and on... There were a lot of precious memories which just kept flashing by your eyes and you remembered them all. You couldn't afford to lose them. Again!

The scenery changes and now you both in your teens. A lot had been changed since those times.

You began to see Luke a lot more than just a best friend. You developed feelings for him. At first you didn't understand but later you just shook it off as a silly old crush.

Secrets were revealed and your worth had become much more.

Your need increased so your father got a mall built by the side and instead of only the people in the area, you got to interact with humanoid robots too.

It was boring at first but you were forced to understand that it was only for your safety. They only cared about your safety, nothing else. At first you thought it was the perks of being a daughter of such an important man who was owed a lot by the country.

Little did you know there was more to the story. You weren't a normal human any more. You were more than that and you had talents which really made you special. In this stage, you only wanted to please your father. So you gave in.

Every moment with Luke had been the most magical time you ever spent. You shared your first kiss, and every kiss after that. And each time broke out fireworks, like you've never experienced it before.

Confessions were revealed. And you loved spending each and every moment with him. He was your everything. Everything before you lost your memories.

You remember the lust, the love, the pain, the happiness, the torture and all that had been gone was once found.

At that time, you didn't care about anything else and you knew you could only see and feel him by your side. Both of you didn't care what else could happen. You had each other now and that was enough.

In a few years, give or take, you were given a few explanations to relieve your mind from the confusion of why you couldn't live a normal life. And then realisation hit you hard.

Nothing was ever done for the goodness of your welfare. You and Luke were just test subjects in a lab, kept under constant observation. You were just lab rats to be tested on.

No, it wasn't about drugs. Nor vaccines or new products on trial but they were coming up with something new.

They were trying to make the concept of soul mates and you and Luke were the first successful pair and with that came a heavy price.

You had weird markings all over your body which grew in number with time and your 'talents' began appearing, making you more of a freak than a normal human being. The side-effects were what you had to pay for Father's curiousity.

You also came out to know that you both were fraternal conjoint twins and as your bodies separated so did your souls and with that resulted your mother's death. And then you were forced to bond with Luke from the start.

What you thought of him being a mere coincidence, where at first he was your friend to best friend to crush to boyfriend was all planned. It finally answered your question of why people never got attracted to you.

It was because fate had forced the two of you to only have eyes for each other. No one would get attracted to you nor would you get attracted to anyone. It had shaped you that way.

You father had no more remained a parental figure by then, but now he was just your creator. He made you the way you are now. He had cursed you both to live that terrible life. When he had the chance to bring you and Luke up as normal children, filled with love and care, he didn't.

In fact he chose to mutilate the two of you and your lives with it. He never even gave a second thought about your future. He only cared about his great scientific discoveries.

The thought itself had made you feel uneasy and had also given you a mad driven urge to break out and experience a normal life, without the constant stare of white blinding light and cameras flashing. Plus now you hated your Father to such an extent that you are unable to believe that at one point of your life, you worshipped and idolized him. That you wanted nothing more but to please him and make him proud.

It disgusted you of your former feelings for your father.

As for Luke, you couldn't do anything. You were forced to love him. It was what was built in you and you could not ignore it. As much as you didn't want it, you began to love him even more. And you realised it was no fault of his. So there was no point of fighting against it.

At first both of you believed that living a normal life was just another fairy tale, a fantasy that could never become reality. But then soon determination and eagerness creeped in the sprint of time and you both wanted nothing less but turn it into life you always wanted to start living.

With time, both of your thoughts began pointing at the same direction, so both of you planned your escape carefully and evolved it into sweet success but through a lot of pain.

Now you finally know the reason of how you lost your memory and how you ended up in a small town, all lost.

That memory was very distinct considering it was the latest thing in your life before you were under the impression of you not knowing who you are. It played in your mind even though you didn't want to see it. Cause that was the time it broke your heart.

You had to be far away from him. It was the only way for the two of you to be safe. That no one would be able to catch you. You could finally lead a normal life. But without him.

It was no car accident as you had believed it to be when you lost your memories. Or at least that was what sounded convincing to you that the past you have been having. But it was something worse.

Even with such careful planning, you and Luke managed to escape the labs which belonged to Area 51 Sector 17 in the US. And both of you had escaped, gravely injured, every part of your body aching for rest and the blood which was leaking out of your body, burning your skin when it came in contact.

Both of you had vial of liquid in your hands and both of you swore to take it when you part ways so it could keep you both safe. So even if one is caught, the other would still have a chance to lead a normal life.

And according to your promise, before your feet gave away, you consumed the vile liquid.

The liquid was just a simple drug which will induce a stop to all your memories and keep them hidden from the outside world as well as you. Which also meant your talents will also disappear as you would have no knowledge of them. But at least you would be safe.

But now that you had received all your memories in such a painful way, you also received all your answers.

Your memories which played like a movie in your head faded to black and your eyes snapped open to greet the blinding whiteness again.
