Chapter 2
LEXIS POV
"Hey! Lexi! Come here!" I heard a boy say as I turned my back and tried to run back to Jordan's house. I ran and heard his footsteps growing closer, until finally he grabbed my shoulders and I was yanked down to the ground. I screamed and he covered my mouth.
"Shhh! Be quiet I'm not gonna hurt you!" The man took his hand from my mouth and I stared at him angrily.
"Get away from me Jake! I don't wanna see you again!" I said.
He chuckled. "Yes you do. And I want to get back together."
"Heck no! Do you really think that you can just cheat on me then waltz back into my life?! And I have my eyes on someone else so just leave me alone!" With that, I jumped up and ran. He ran after me and as I ran past Jordan's house, I screamed. Come on Jordan.... Please come out....
I heard Jordan's door open. "Hey! Jake what the heck do you think you're doing?!" I heard him yell as he ran over to us.
"Jordan help!" I yelled as Jake grabbed me again.
"Awww is this your little boyfriend?" Jake taunted annoyingly.
"No! I'm Jordan I'm her best friend! And I know you're not her boyfriend anymore. So just go away before I have to kick your butt!" I was surprised by this sudden outburst. Jordan is never one to be known for violence.
Jake laughed and pushed me to the ground. I fell onto a rock in the road and my arm started to bleed. I yelled out in pain.
"What the heck is going on out here?!" I heard someone yell from inside. Then, Adam looked out the door and his eyes widened. He stuck his head back in the door and yelled for the guys as Jake put his foot on my back to keep me down.
"Please guys he's dangerous DON'T come over here!" I yelled to them as they all came out. They all looked ANGRY at Jake.
"Hey get the heck away from her!" Ty yelled.
"Yeah who are you anyway?!" Quentin asked.
"Yeah go away!" Jerome yelled. All the guys stepped forward towards Jake and I. Jake looked around at the guys and took his foot from my back.
"Trust me, this isn't over...." Jake said through gritted teeth. "I will make you mine again..."
"Never will I go back to you...." I retorted. He chuckled darkly and walked slowly away.
"Yes you will! Just you wait." He called, then turned and ran away. I got up and held my arm, now covered my blood. My cheek was bleeding too. I simply wiped it off.
"My god who was that?!" Ian asked, bewildered. Jordan and I looked at each other and I nodded, allowing him to tell them.
"That was Lexi's ex-boyfriend. She found him cheating on her last week, and she's been at my house ever since. Now he wants her back. So I'm letting her stay here to keep her safe." He explained. All of the guys looked pretty angry.
"That's ridiculous! Why would you cheat on HER?!" Ty said and motioned to me. I looked down and felt my cheeks turn red.
"Yeah! Of course she wouldn't take him back after that! She can do much better!" Ian commented. I looked up and saw Mitch looking kinda angry as he looked at all the guys. Jordan looked angry too for a moment, then he looked at me and smiled. He walked over and put his arm around me and we all walked back into the house.
LATER THAT NIGHT
"Hey dood hey dood hey dood hey dood!" Jerome said as he chased another player around on Minecraft Hunger Games.
