"Ow." I mumbled.

"You said we're werewolves? Didn't you? I'm not crazy? My hearing is fine?" I panicked

"Yes, you heard right and no you aren't crazy." Dad chuckled

"Okay. Explain." I said close to hyperventilating.

"I'm a werewolf. I carry the werewolf gene. A gene you and your siblings have." He said slowly

"B-but..... I don't turn into a wolf. I don't have a craving to eat people. I don't sniff people's butts. I don't roll

around in grass. Okay maybe sometimes but only because it's fun!" I said quickly.

"Calm down, Serena." Dad said “I’ll explain."

“This isn’t a funny joke!” I said

“Serena, it’s not a joke just listen.” He said

"You don't shift into a wolf because you’re not a full wolf. You are half vampire and half werewolf. You’re a

Hybrid. What ever you would like to call it. Your mother was one too but chose to be a

Vampire while she was pregnant with you and your brother. I was actually in your guys life until Jace and

Jake were born. Your mother and I were always arguing. So one day I was going to take you away from

her because she started changing into a vampire. I was trying to protect you guys from her. She figured it

out and hid you three from me. I already the others in the car waiting. It was now or never. I planned on

coming back to you guys. I swear. I took the three back to my mom's house since Kelsey didn't know

where she lived. By the time I got back. You guys were gone.” Dad whispered the last part. He was

shaking.

"So wait, let me get this straight. You guys didn't split us up like you said earlier?"

“Yes we did but not just because things weren't working out.” He sighed

"I better... I better go." I said softly

"Why?" He said quickly

"Jake." I said “Jake needs me."

"Serena, you can't just leave now that we know about you. Now that we found you." Jace said

"Why not? We were doing just fine with out her. We don't need her here and it's obvious she doesn't

belong with us. She doesn't want to be here nor do we want her here." Colby said angrily

"Oh Colby, shut up! No one else thinks that but you. Jace is right Serena.... You can't just leave." Aden

said

"It's obvious I’m not wanted here and I have enough to deal with. I don't need another spoiled brat like Lia

in my life." I said running to the door and yanked it behind me. I ran and ran until my home came into view.

I opened the door and slammed it behind me. I threw my bag on the couch and walked until I came to the

kitchen. Breakfast was already made and there was a plate on the table for me. They were talking until

they saw me.
