The sound of wheels cackled on the floor as I sighed.

"[F/N]!"

My head snapped to my right as I stood patiently. I was waiting for a taxi cab to drive me to the airport.

It's about time.

"Tatsuya-kun..." I gasped

He panted as he gripped his knees tightly. I was concerned on how many blocks he must have turned.

"I'm going to miss you." he said softy as he smiled at me

I smiled sweetly at him as well, giggling slightly.

"I'm going to miss you too." I said

He blushed madly as he scratched the back of his head.

"I promise that I'll keep in touch with you..." he said

"I like the sound of that..." I said

He engulfed me with a hug.

A really tight one.

I hugged him tightly as well, my tears falling down.

"Do you have your mother's ashes with you already?"

"Yeah."

He nodded as we slightly backed up. He cupped my cheeks as he stared at me deeply. His thumb glided on my wet cheek as he wiped my tears away. He smiled sadly as he brought my face closer.

His lips landed on my forehead, planting a long kiss.

He sure was a sweet guy.

Days after I arrived at Tokyo and I heard nothing from him.

Weeks after I arrived at Tokyo and I heard nothing from him.

Months after I arrived at Tokyo and I heard nothing from him.

Years after I arrived at Tokyo and I heard nothing from him.

That's when I realized that I was nothing to him.

I sighed deeply as I sat on the steps of the cabin. I heard the birds tweet and a particular butterfly soared up in the air.

Silly butterfly...

The sun hit my skin as I stared at the wonderful site. My classmates sure are rambling inside for their rooms.

I'm quite sure that they didn't follow the rooms that were assigned to them.

Well, if there's something to sleep on, then I'll doze off.

I zoned off for a while, thinking about how Akashi just invited me during Christmas break.

Suddenly, I felt an object with a very odd texture hit my foot, causing me to snap back to my senses.

I looked up to see a figure rush towards my direction. My eyes widened as I picked up the ball. He froze on his tracks as well, resulting for him to take slow steps towards me.

"What are you doing here, [F/N]?" he asked

I looked up to him, rolling the Gardenia (Kuchinashi) on my palm.

"We're staying here for an outbound activity." I said

Even though I said that I wanted him to forget about it, I still felt hurt.

He was my first love.

I loved him so much.

I wanted nothing but to feel his prensence.

But that's all in the past.

"Oh, I see. Want to hang? I'm bored." Tatsuya said

Bored.

"Why not?" I giggled

I still love him... but only as a friend.

I wish I could love Seijuro-kun that way as well.

We started to walk around the complex, feeling the wind blow past our hair. I looked up to him, seeing how much he has grown.

"How are you?" he asked

"I'm fine... I guess..." I said

We felt sand under our feet as the smell of the ocean hit my senses.

He let out a laugh that made my cheeks turn red.

"Your answer never changed... just like the way you carry flowers around." he smiled

I laughed a little as I lifted the Gardenia to my face. I moved my head down as I held it up to him. He took it from my hand as he gave me a sweet smile.

We walked along the shore as the sun set gracefully.

"Gardenia; a flower that symbolizes secret love." I said

From the corner of my eye, I saw him stare at me with wide eyes.

I gave out a graceful laugh as I met his gaze.

"I have a confession to make." I said

His cheeks turned to a wonderful shade of red.

"I loved you."
