Finn's Coma

Theory: Finn was a lonely boy ignored by everyone but his loyal dog Jake. When Jake dies, Finn falls into a deep depression and attempts suicide.  Instead of dying, he ends up a coma, where he lives in a perpetual dream state.

One theory suggests that Finn and all of his adventures are just dreams where Finn is in a coma. All of the people in adventure time are just figures of his imagination and Jake is his dog in real life. There are different stories of why he is in a coma but the most spoken about is that he attempts to commit suicide. I don't really like this theory because it's said and doesn't really make sense because there has been no hints or scenes that point towards this theory and there is no evidence to back this up. Even if theory was true, I wouldn't really be happy about it because adventure time is like another world where we can explore and it's a lot like our imagination because it's a cartoon made for all ages which means that little kids probably watch this show and we like to think about this world as our very own. Also speaking about little kids watching this show, a boy committing suicide who happens to be a protagonist of a very popular and loved T.V. Show, that concept would be very dark and tragic for young viewers that watch adventure time. But please tell me what you think about this conspiracy. It's weird to think about but at least I'm bringing up different types of theories. Please give me more suggestions and theories to talk about and other stuff about adventure time

This is a very sad theory in my opinion because everything in the adventure time series has been super fun and really cool, so to think that it was all just a dream, seems really dark, since he attempts suicide and tries to kill himself because of his depression. To also think that jake the dog dies, is pretty tragic concept anti wouldn't really be appropriate for children since adventure time is for all ages, it should keep the crazy stuff to a minimum level but considering all the wacky things that happen adventure time, crazy stuff do always happen but i mean to keep it from being really tragic but Finn and flat princess breaking up was tragic but i'm getting off topic. Even if this was true and was actually the backstory for this series, it would be really hard to sink in, because adventure time is suppose to be a light hearted and fun show and i wouldn't want to wreck that for anyone that is watching it. It is more likely to just stay a theory and nothing more because if i was younger and if found out that this theory was the truth of adventure time or just thinking about the theory would be a sad moment in my life. Over all i love advent time and i don't think it should change it's backstory to something very dark, so i'll just love adventure time for what it is and continue to watch it no matter how crazy it gets.
