Chapter 48- Graduation Party

"I actually have my clothes with me." Keve said.

"That's great because I see cars parked outside of our house. Come on!" I shouted and all thre of us ran to our house. All of our friends that graduated or go to Behrman honked their parents horns as we ran past and into the house.

I unlocked the door and left everyone in.

"Hey Mama! Everyone's here!" I shouted.

"Food is over here." Wendy said. Juno and I went into our rooms and Keve went into the bathroom to change. When we came out, Isis and Jari were just getting there along with Horus, Alexa, Vickie, Yulissa, and Harold.

"Juno, let's get this party started!" I shoutrd as Juno and I walked to the backyard. Juno went to the DJ table to tell Rodrick to start the music.

Karr was just letting out of school and they looked through the gate or walked over to see what was going on at the house. Brittany and Tiyana-- Keve's older sister-- ran over and went into the house to change into their party clothes. They even brought some of their friends from Karr to party with us.

We partied like a bunch of fools. Everyone danced with everyone-- no matter if you were single or not or liked that person or not. This was a party to celebrate the end of school, so a bunch of kids from Karr and Behrman were there-- sixth grade and up. Darian even got some of his football friend to come to the party after practice.

"Girl, Roc is so lucky I'm faithful because these damn football players are ballin'!" Isis said to me as we stopped dancing to get something to drink.

"Girl yes. I have to remind myself that I'm with somebody when they come around." I sighed as I pulled out my phone.

"Keek time." Isis and I said together as she pulled out her phone.

"Hey Keek! We're Keeking and partying at the same damn time!" Isis and I said to our phones as we started recording.

"We are at our graduation party that I planned. And more than the graduates of our eighth grade class came." I said as I took my phone and moved it around the backyard.

"We have everyone from sixth grade to twelfth grade here. And it is a banging party. The best party that Princess and Royalty could have ever done." Isis said.

"Ain't that right?" I said as someone started a dance off. "I'm getting in that! Isis, you Keek everything on your phone. Later Keek."

I turned my phone off and gave it go Isis so I could get in the circle.

"Alright. So we have Artemis, Kamri, and Diamond bout to show us what they got. You can shake, pop, twerk a bit, and do whatever comes to mind to win this fifty dollar gift card to Forever 21." Rodrick said. "This is DJ RodgerDat with DJ MiNiMe and we bout to give to you like this."

Rodrick started playing "Beat It Out The Frame" and I started dancing since Kamri nor Diamond wanted to start. I shook my hair and twerked as I caught the beat. Kamri pushed me out the way as Juno changed the song to "You Need Sum D!ck" by Sissy Nobby.

I shook my head at Kamri and Diamond. I just did my own thing as they tried too hard. No way was I losing a dance off at my party. Juno changed the song to "Fine China" by Chris Brown and I really started dancing. No one was expecting that, so I used it to my advantage when Rodrick changes the song to "All About Him" remixed with bounce music.

Kamri and Diamond didn't want me to dance to my own song, so they pushed me. I looked at Rodrick and Juno and one of them changed the song.

"Last song. Last song!" Juno said as she changed the song to "Kiss My Ass" by K. Michelle remixed with bounce music. I slapped my ass at Diamond and Kamri when the sing ended. All three of us laughed together as we waited to hear who won.

"If you think Kamri should win, scream!" Rodrick said. She got some applause and shouts. "If Diamond should get the gift card, scream!"

She got less applause than Kamri.

"If Artemis should wi--" Juno didn't even get to finish before everyone started screaming and shouting.

"And Artemis wins the fifty dollar gift cars to Forever 21." Juno said and gave me my gift card.

"Princess! Princess, what do you have to say on this victory?" Isis asked as she held both of our phones to my face.

"I just have to say that I want to thank God for this talent of dance, my parents for believing in me, my friends and family for watching me dance ar everything for the last three years and to my boyfriend, Princeton, who helps and pushes me to work hard. I love y'all." I said as a joke. Isis laughed as she gave me my phone.

"I recorded the whole thing on your phone so you could put it on Youtube and I did the Keeks on my phone." Isis said.

"Good. So the boys can see the Keeks then go watch the whole thing on Youtube." I smiled. She nodded as we went to go mingle with everyone else.

Juno and Rodrick put on a slow song and everyone grabbed somebody. Isis, Jari, Brittany, and I stood on the sides. We didn't want to slow dance with anyone but our boys.

"Come on, girls. Dance with us." Harold, Horus, Walter, and Kyrun said to us.

I grabbed Harold's hand, Isis grabbed Walter's, Jari grabbed Horus's, and Brittany grabbed Kyrun's.

"Just one dance, Harold." I sighed as he pulled me to him.

"You miss him, don't you?" Harold whispered to me.

"Yeah, but I always do. I'm not worry about it though. I'll see him soon. We go on tour." I sighed.

"Can I get a ticket so I can see you? I know there's a New Orleans date, right?" Harold asked.

"Of course. The girls and I want to talk to Keisha, Kenneth, and Walter-- our managers-- to have some of our friends and family come to the first show in Los Angeles. We'll pay for all expenses; air fair, hotel room rental, food. All of that." I said.

"That would be the highlight of my summer." Harold laughed.

"I know. Every time I text you, you say you're doing nothing and that you're bored." I laughed as the song ended. "Thank you for the dance, best friend."

The party went on until 11PM. Juno and I stayed up until 12AM cleaning the house and yard of trash and things. When my head the pillow after taking a good, long shower, I was out like a light. No one and nobody could wake me up.
