“Hey Julie!” Both of the boys yelled as they walked through the door.
“Hello boys, Bibi and..?” She trailed off looking at Jay.
“Jay Thomas.” Jay said sticking his hand out. Julie shook his hand and led us through to a small room.
“Ok. So it has been what roughly eight weeks tops since I have had to check you for injuries? yes?” I nodded my head and Julie wrote that down on a piece of paper.
“So I see you are off crutches thats because you were in a coma for for five weeks making your injury heal. Let me check your injuries to see if they have fully recovered. If they have that means that you can start training.” She told me.
“Awesome! I’m so excited to start training.” I said clapping my hands together. She chuckled quietly to herself. She checked my ankle first moving it up and down, side to side and then making me push my ankle against her hand to see the strength I had in my foot. She nodded to herself and wrote something on her notepad.
“Would you be able to lie down so I can check the wound on your stomach?” Julie asked. I nodded my head and laid back on the bed. Julie lifted up my shirt and started to touch around the area of where the wound is. She did that for a few minutes before pulling my shirt back down and asking me to sit back up so she could check the bullet wound in my arm. After that was done she wrote down on her notebook for a few minutes before looking up at me.
“Turns out you are now free to learn how to train, just take care I don’t want to see you in here any time soo-”
“One of us, one of us!” Patrick and Dylan yelled running into the room engulfing me into a hug. Julie laughed at us and then told us that we could leave. She asked Jay to stay behind so he could get checked up on as well.
“Come on Bibi we have to start to teach you awesome ninja skills!” Dylan yelled then giggled like a maniac then ran off in front of Patrick and I.
“I have to wait for Jay.” I said stopping at the corner of the hallway.
“He will be fine. He knows how to get around this place better then you do and you have been here longer than he has.” Patrick said smirking at me.
“So can’t we just wait for him?” I asked him.
“Bibi hurry up! Come on slow poke!” Dylan yelled as he came back around the corner. I looked back at the door and sighed heavily.
“Fine!” Patrick and I started walking behind a very excited Dylan. Patrick and I walked in silence, the only time we broke the silence was when we started laughing at Dylan when he tripped over a pot plant. When we got to the gym Dylan had already set up some equipment. A punching bag sat in the corner and some gloves were next to it. Excited, I walked over to where Dylan sat. I looked down at him and waited for him to stand up.
“You ready to learn some awesome stuff Bibi?” He asked. I nodded my head vigorously.
“Good.” He smirked at me.
“Go run eight laps.” He commanded. I gave him a questioned look but he just pointed towards the door that lead to the oval. I sighed and walked towards the door. I started the laps at a smooth pace, not running to fast and not running to slow. Once I was on my fifth lap I started to get tired. Dylan and Patrick sat on the bleachers beside the oval watching me. I wasn’t go to show them I am weak. I pushed myself to keep going. Once I finished the laps I walked breathlessly over to the boys. They were both smirking at me. I gave them a blank look and sat down on the grass.
“Not bad, took you just over sixteen minutes to run 3.2km. By the time we are done with you though you will be able to run it in about, oh I don’t know nine to ten minutes.” Patrick smiled down at me.
“Come on time to keep working. Time for sprints.” Dylan laughed at me. I rolled my eyes and pushed myself off the ground.
“Have you seen Jay yet?” I asked looking around. Both boys shook their head as we walked over to the straight in the oval.
“You get to race me.” Patrick smirked.
“Great.” I mumbled walking over to the starting line. We both waited patiently for Dylan to tell us to go.
“On your mark...” I got into position to run. “Get set...” I looked from Dylan and then down to the ground. “Go!” Dylan shouted.I started running a fast speed. Patrick was only just in front of me, that was until I got to fifty meters my legs felt dead and I slowed my pace. I ended up getting to the line around five meters behind Patrick.
“Eighteen seconds Bibi, after just running three kilometers, thats pretty good. Once you are fully fit you will be able to be down at 13-14 seconds. Go again.” Dylan told us. For the next forty-five minutes we did more running drills until I felt like I could’t even move.
“Now for the fun part.” Dylan smirked. He gestured for to follow him and we walked back inside. He walked to the middle of the gym and just stood there. I looked at him and he gestured for me to go to him. I slowly walked over to him.
“Can you punch?” He asked. I slightly nodded my head and he smiled.
“Hit me then.” He said. I looked at him shocked. He wanted me to punch him.
“Where?” I asked. He shrugged.
“Anywhere.” This time it was my time to shrug. I clenched my fist and brought it up. I struck him in the stomach and he only moved slightly. I felt a sting go though my hand and Dylan just smirked.
“Ha! I got abs of steel.” He laughed and lifted up his shirt revealing a six pack. I shook my hand making the pain go away. I rolled my eyes and pulled Dylan’s arm down so that his shirt would cover up his stomach.
“Jealous?” He questioned. I laughed and shook my head. I lifted up my shirt to reveal a six pack. I smirked at him and pulled my shirt back down.
“Now who should be jealous?” I asked smiling. Patrick laughed from behind me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder.
“Look who just came in the door.” Patrick whispered in my ear. I looked over my shoulder to find Jay with none other than Grace. I waved over to Jay and he smiled back at me. I motioned for him to come over but Grace held onto his arm saying something to him. He nodded his head and gave me a small smile and walked out with Grace. I felt my heart drop. My best friend just walked off with the person I newly hate. Dylan walked over to me and gave me a hug, as did Patrick. I felt a tear roll down my cheek but I hastily wiped it off.
“Lets go get some food, yeah?” Patrick asked. I nodded my head and we walked towards the cafeteria.
“How do you feel? Anything sore?” Patrick asked. I shook my head. Surprisingly all of my muscles and injuries felt fine, they really had fully recovered. We talked as we walked towards the cafeteria. As we entered the cafeteria the first thing I noticed was that Jay was here too, and so was Grace. I looked elsewhere as we walked towards the line for food. I looked hungrily at the food, having a hard time choosing something. In the end I grabbed two pieces of pizza and a large chips. I smiled to myself and waited for the boys to get their food. Once we had all got our food we started walking to a spare table. As we walked down the isle to find a table Grace stood up from the table she was sitting at and glared at me. She stood in the middle of the isle making all three of us stop.
“Look what we have here. The three little pigs.” She sneered.
“How do you expect to be able to do well at a school like this when all you eat is that rubbish. Along with me the boys also got a hotdog each and a large chips.
“At least we eat food and don’t feed of the weakness of others.” I shot back. She narrowed her eyes at me. Jay stood up and grabbed onto Grace’s elbow trying to get her to leave.
“Its not worth it.” I could slightly hear Jay whisper in her ear. Grace didn’t listen though.
“Watch yourself you little pigs I will come and get you.” She said talking a step back to be inline with Jay. Not ever three seconds later her lips were on Jay’s.
