"She made it!" The doctor said as she stepped outside the operating room. I let go of the breath I never knew I was holding.
"Thanks God!" I felt tears ran down my face. "My baby is safe!"
"Relax, Love! Our daughter is strong!" I heard my husband whispered to calm me down.
"Thank you, Doc!"
We went inside the room where my daughter was. She looked so peaceful yet so fragile.
My tears ran down my cheeks again. Why does she have to suffer like this?
"Babe, you have to fight. You have to be safe. I don't want you to turn into that thing!"
"You just can't!"
