Can't count the years on one hand
That we've been together
I need the other one to hold you
Make you feel, make you feel better

It's not a walk in the park
To love each other
But when our fingers interlock,
Can't deny, can't deny you're worth it
'Cause after all this time I'm still into you

I should be over all the butterflies
But I'm into you (I'm into you)
And baby even on our worst nights
I'm into you (I'm into you)

Let 'em wonder how we got this far
'Cause I don't really need to wonder at all
Yeah, after all this time I'm still into you

Recount the night that
I first met your mother
And on the drive back to my house
I told you that, I told you that I loved ya

*Flashback*
November 25, a day before thanksgiving Hayley was going to finally meet my mother for the first time. I'm nervous while Hayley, I turn to look at her. Hayley was as calm as could be, how? Could? She? Be? So? Calm?? It's my mother after all!
"Baby shouldn't I be the nervous one. It's your mother" Hayley rubbed my hand with her thumb.
"Exactly! She's my mother! She's really hard to get along with" I stopped at a stop light and turned to Hayley.
"It's okay baby. I'm sure she's not that hard to get along with" The light turned green, I started driving again until I had to make a left turn into my mothers house. I parked the car and looked at Hayley again.
"Ready?" She nodded, I leaned over to kissed her lips before stepping out the car and walking to Hayley's side.
We both stood at the doorstep waiting for my mother to opened the door, as it came opened I was met with a loud ear piercing scream. "Your even more beautiful in person!" My mother yelled pulling Hayley into a huge hug. Hayley hugged her back laughing.
Well I guess I was wrong...
Boy I was wrong. My mother and Hayley were practically best friends, the whole night they spent the time talking about God knows what and me of course. My mother even brought out those stupid baby pictures of me, you know the ones your parents seem to take of you naked, yup those. Hayley couldn't stop laughing at them. Alex and I played guitar a bit and also played soccer, he told me about his daughter Melanie. Melanie can also sing, or so Alex said she can. She's also 20 making me a year older, oh and she a fan of mine. She's in college but usually stays with her father. She seems like a cool person, He made me promise to listen to her sing someday and I said anytime she's around.
Now we were heading home, "bye mom thanks a lot" I hugged my mother once again. Hayley hugged my mother then shook Alex's hand and followed behind me.
"Your mom is amazing" Hayley said getting in the car.
"Yeah she really loved you SpongeBob" Hayley shoved me as I pulled out.
"So mine or yours?" I asked with a smirk.
"Mine" she answered serious. She's thinking, wonder what this time.
"I love you" she said after a few minutes. I turned to look at her, she gave me a small cute smile.
"I love you too" I responded before she leaned in to kiss me.
We pulled back smiling like idiots, I turned the radio up hearing my favorite song playing.
"I love this song!" I yelled. Hayley laughed nodding as well.
We both sang along to our favorite song and made love that whole night...
*End of Flashback*

You felt the weight of the world
Fall off your shoulder
And to your favorite song
We sang along to the start of forever
And after all this time I'm still into you

I should be over all the butterflies
But I'm into you (I'm into you)
And baby even on our worst nights
I'm into you (I'm into you)
Let 'em wonder how we got this far
'Cause I don't really need to wonder at all
Yeah, after all this time I'm still into you

Some things just, some things just make sense
And one of those is you and I (Hey)
Some things just, some things just make sense
And even after all this time (Hey)

I'm into you, baby, not a day goes by
That I'm not into you

I should be over all the butterflies
But I'm into you (I'm into you)
And baby even on our worst nights
I'm into you (I'm into you)
Let 'em wonder how we got this far
