A couple days after all that
had happened,
I got up,
and entered the living room,
I couldn't believe my eyes.

A smile spread across my face.
"Bert, why did you do this????"
Bert said
"I want to change."
I couldn't believe
what he just told me.
"I cut off all my ties with Vic and Kellin."
I stared
for a second.
"Oh, Bert,"
Then I ran up to him
and hugged him;
attacking his cheek in
sloppy kisses.
"I'll change too."
I said,
"I don't want the sugar to destroy me. I won't let it control me anymore."
Bert gripped my hand,
smiled.
"We're gonna get through this together."
He said,
then layed a kiss
on my lips.
