Killian's POV

My eyes flutter open to see Emma laying in bed next to me. I smile at how peaceful she looks. I kiss her nose and get out of bed slowly, trying not to wake her. I slip on some clothes and walk to the kitchen. I start to make breakfast without trying to burn something.
Cooking is not my strongest talent.
I flip the pancakes, and make eggs. I hear a door open behind me. I turn around and find Emma rubbing her eyes, while she leans against the doorway of our bedroom.
"How did you sleep, love?" I ask focusing back to the food.

"Good, you?" I hear her walking closer to me.

"Great." I slide the eggs off the pan and onto a plate.
I feel arms slip around my waist.

"Good." She says into my back. I chuckle at her response.
"What are you laughing at, Jones?" She puts her head on my shoulder.

"You." I smile and finish the pancakes.

"Why are you laughing at me?" She tightens her grip around me.

"Because, you're funny." I chuckle at her again.

"No, I'm not." She retorts.

"Believe it or not, Swan you are funny."I turn around so I'm facing her.

"Yah, yah, yah, whatever." She rolls her eyes, And hugs me.

"Is something wrong?" I ask tightening my grip around her.

"No..." she sighs.

"Okay."I give in not wanting to anger her.
I hand her, her plate of food and sit down next to her.
"Have any plans for tomorrow?" I ask breaking the awkward silence.

"Um, well I have a few things to do." She takes another bite of her food.

"Mind if I come?" I ask looking up at her.

"They're just boring errands. You wouldn't enjoy them." She looks at me.

"That's okay, I just like spending time with you." I give her a big toothy grin.
She gives a slight laugh.

"Hey, do you mind if I just go... by myself?" She asks nervously.

"Yah, sure." I say disappointed.

"I'm sorry, Killian. I just need some alone time." She takes my hand from across the table.

"Ya, okay." I get up and put our dishes in the sink.

"Killian, I didn't mean that I don't want to see you. I- I just need some time to think." She says from behind me.

"Was it because of what I said last night?" I ask putting my hands on the counter.

"No, that's not it." She sighs.
I turn around and face her.

"You know you can tell me anything, Swan, right." I take her hands.

"I know, Killian. I just need to think some things over. That's it I promise."

"Okay." I sigh and continue washing the dishes.
I hear our door shut. I turn around and put my elbows on the counter.
Should I follow her? Or trust her? I do trust her, I'm just curious.
I shake my head and walk back to our room.
I open the door slowly. She's sitting on our bed with something in her hands.
"Emma?" I say in a whisper.
She whips her head up. She gets up and puts the small object in a drawer, and lock it with a key.
"Emma what was that?" I ask entering the room.

"Nothing to worry about." She gives a slight smile.
I pull her closer to me. I loose my balance and we fall onto the bed.
She laughs as I land on top of her.

"Sorry." I laugh.

"That's okay." She puts her arms around my neck.
I kiss her and smile.

"Emma?" I pull away slightly.

"Yah?"

"Do you trust me?" I ask putting my forehead to hers.

"Of course, I trust you." She gives me a confused look.

"I won't make you tell me, but I hope you trust me enough to tell me one day." I kiss her forehead and sit up. I pull her up, as soon as I do she wraps her arms around my waist.
I put my arms around her, and close my eyes and enjoy the moment.

"I trust you, Killian. More than I have ever trusted anyone, but I'm just not ready yet." She whispers into my chest.

"I understand, Emma. You can tell me on your own time." I kiss her head and put my chin on her head.

"Thank you." I pull her closer.

"Your welcome, love."
